I just dont get this season. Literally nothing has happened except the explanation of the island moving through time.
Why isnât Sun 30 years ago as well? Episode was cool but that just didnât make any sense at all. Maybe because when she was on the island she was actually 2 people(her and her baby; who she left in that hotel room if I remember correctly), now that she is only one it didnât send her back(âall of you need to goâ)?

Sun was never important to the island. Remember the list of names Michael was supposed to bring to the other season 1? It was Kate, Jack, Hugo and Sawyer: all of the time traveled survivors save Sayid. But Ben already knew SayidâŚ

Besides the island travelling through time, what have they explained? I stopped giving this season my undivided attention after all the dumb shit with Kate and the baby.
This show is one big explanation. They explained how certain people know certain things. They explained how they came to build the orchid and how long its been there. They explained that the island literally does have a plan nd itâs explaining the Dharm Initiative right now.
Ben already knew Sayid? What do you mean? That doesnât really explain why Sayid went back 30 years and Sun(and Locke) didnât; especially if it was suppose to only be the 4 on that list. Given that they are all at the Darma place now Iâm sure they all meet kid Ben, I donât think that has anything to do with Sayid travelling.
I dunno it just doesnât cut it for me. I havent seen seasons 1 or 2 but Iâve been told what they were about.
The thing about this show is that theres like 20 main characters which is unbelievably stupid. They come and go from episode to episode and the audience is just left in a wtf mode. Like wtf happened with desmond? Hes only been in 1 or 2 episodes so far. It only seems to make sense when Farehity(sp) is around to explain what goes on with the island, and now hes gone again.

If the show is one big explanation, then wtf is the point of watching it? They could summarize the explanation into 1 episode, the rest is just filler. I donât think theres any way to justify this show.

It hasnât explained why Sun did go yet, so you will probably have to continue to watch the show to find out. It probably has something to do with how she left the island pregnant but we will all hopefully find out for sure later.
I think what the Doctor meant about Sayid is that it had already happened that Ben meets Sayid, which is why he was brought back to the island to complete his role in Benâs eventual development. But really we donât know for sure what is going to occur. Locke was dead and wearing someone else shoes so his is probably easy to explain. Along with possibly being needed to help move the others back to the present later on.
I am mainly waiting on the explanation for what happened to my boy Desmond and his kin.
How about the fact that nothing had ever really been explained? You make it sound like all the other seasons have been explaining every thing. Guess what, they havenât. Shit we still donât even really know what the hell the smoke monster is or where is came from. There are still things that need explaining from the first season. IMO this one is explaining a little more then most, especially with the Darma folks and you can bet there is going to be some more explanation to the Darma vs. Hostile thing.
I think the only thing that has ever been explained with any logical sense is why the plane crashed.

Yeah, I said that in my first post. She was âtwoâ people on the island then when she came back she was only one. Locke I understand, dude was dead, Ben I sort of understand as well. But other then the pregnant thing I donât get the Sun thing.
As for Sayid being a part in Benâs development means this is all a cycle that keeps happening over and over. Which IMHO would kind of be stupid.
Desmond just said fuck it all and went on with his life, as he should have. His storyline has completely come to a close.
