How can you not like Locke? I mean, has he bugged you all along or just mostly in Season 3? Cuz I agree he got extremely stupid and even I didn’t like him much in S3. But prior to that, he was by far my favorite character.
He seemed the wisest. He seemed the most badass. It seemed like most of the “magic” happened to or around him.
Then in S3 he became a dumbass jerk. =\
As of now? My fave would have to be Ben or Desmond. They are the split form of OG Locke. Ben has the wisdom, and Desmond has the badassness.
Agreed. My fave is Locke. I really enjoyed Locke’s backstory and there’s been a lot of development into that character. I also like how he really wants to know more about the island whereas every other character pretty much doesn’t care.
2nd fave is probably Desmond.
I really wonder if Claire is gonna bite it this season. Her character hasn’t been developed at all.
**Yeah, all this hate came rushing in on Season 3 and at the end of Season 2. My favorite characters have always been Sayid and Sawyer. But yeah, from Season 1 up until that point, I don’t see how those folks would’ve lived without Locke.
But he got MAD stupid and stayed that way so…

Those other people are probably stuck on the island, but Jack and the rest wont say anything probably due to the fact that those dharma people might kill them? So many things have happened in the past 4 seasons of the show that i forgot what happened or the relations between things since they hardly ever solve any questions.
I was just reading through some of the unanswered questions. There are so many that I thought it might be easier if there were a list of answered questions heh. Plus since I’ve forgotten so much over all these seasons of confusion, I might have missed some answers or forgotten they’ve been answered to begin with.

Been watching lost since basically the 9th episode from season 1, i also watched Alias. Judging from the previous history of Alias, I would be willing to be that the resolution to Lost’s questions will be something overly simple and a giant let down.
^Just to clarify on what Matrix theory I was talking about (as there were probably hundreds heh)… I can’t even begin to find a link, but I think Shaft Agent is talking about the same theory I am. My memory’s a bit rusty on it anyway, but I think it pretty much went like this:
Basically during the war, when the nukes went off, the machines were immediately shut down (nukes naturally emit an EMP field). So that was it. The war was over. The humans won before the movies even took place.
What we see in the movies are the machines’ struggle, not humanity’s. Like the Doom theory, we’re cheering for what we think are the humans to get out of a machine-controlled matrix. Instead, the machines are in a human-controlled matrix.
When the machines were shut down from the nukes, humans had a “matrix” ready to load onto the machines. When the machines were rebooted after the nukes, they “awoke” into this matrix under the illusion that they had won the war, and that life was as depicted in the movies.
Neo was a machine. Smith was a machine. Morpheus, Oracle, etc etc. All were machines thinking they were humans, struggling to escape. Inside and outside the matrix (as depicted in the movies), were both still inside the Matrix. Zion, all that. Still just an illusion for the machines.
Reality was never shown in the movies. This is what the theory hoped would be shown at the end of Revolutions. A reality with humans going about their daily lives, while “lobotomized” machines worked for the humans like normal.
Instead, we got some sort of crucified Neo psycho babble that most of us probably don’t even remember. :arazz:

No one attended the funeral… so I’m thinking there is a possibility it could be Juliet… since everyone despises her anyway. And Jack was the only one who was close to her, but then it conflicts with what the dood in the funeral home asked Jack, "friend or family? and Jack says “neither” … so could it be someone like Sawyer…? Or maybe even Locke lol.
