he was walking around just fine for an hour with the stab wound. going down there killed him, he said it as much to hurley.
was the last episode really that badly written?!!?
He didn’t get fried, maybe it weakened him but he ultimately died from blood loss.
Are you people serious?? Did you miss the entire conversation between jack and hurley? Or Jack and desmond? Both characters stated that jack would DIE if he went down there. And guess what? He did. After jack was washed out the back just as the man in black’s body had. He had blood stains under his nose meaning he go messed up by the light. God i swear, some people’s ability to decipher simple information is just sad.
…duuude what the fuck ever, we are all speculating. I just don’t believe that to be true because if he had a brain hemorrhage of some kind he would be holding his head in pain not his side… do you remember what happened when they kept skipping through time :wonder:
Based on a select few??? Did you actually read how many misinterpretation’s there were throughout this thread jackass? You have no argument which is why you’re reduced to a post consisting of pure sarcasm. Whether the ending was “good” or “bad” is purely opinionated. I was merely breaking down what actually happened for people who missed the entire point of the finale, just as you missed the point of my post. So until you have a relevant reply to this thread shut the hell up.
He was holding his side because the light made the wound much worse. Its obvious the light destroyed him. There’s nothing to speculate when two different characters told us what killed him.
Also for those wondering why jack didn’t turn into smoke:
The skeletons near the light were there to show us not all people lose their bodies. Some are just killed from the direct force of the light. The man in black was a special reaction to the light. Kind of like the opposite of Desmond.
shows over. get a life and move on/thread (?)
how did jack get out of the cave anyway? was it draining out to a different lake? all i saw was him inside laughing it up, then all of a sudden he was outside hanging on a rock
also how did lapidus know the correct coordinates to fly off of the island.
yeah i did hear that…that’s why it makes no sense that he didn’t die from going down there. He had blood stains under his nose cause he got a beating from locke, dude took a fucking rambo knife in the chest, walked around like he was serious stabbed for the whole episode didn’t get fried when he went down there and died like he got stabbed.
“God i swear, some people’s ability to decipher simple information is just sad”
jack got spit out just like mib’s real body got spit out
The point was to wrap up the show by adding an ending to the characters. We all got that. We understood for the most part…we felt like they left out other details and that is why we’re upset. We didn’t need you to come in and tell us what “they lived happily ever after” meant. It’s like me telling you the following story: This is the story of cinderella, she was abused and went to a ball. At midnight she ran away and left a slipper and (flash backwards) she met a prince before she left (flash forward) …they lived happily ever after.
We’re asking, how did she get to the ball? Why did she run away at midnight? Did she leave the slipper on purpose or what. And then you come in here and say "DUDE YOU DIDN’T GET IT? IT ALL WORKED OUT IN THE END SHE’S HAPPY NOW AND I GAVE YOU CLOSURE ON THE CHARACTER. Now imagine that X 100 because lost was well written for the first 5 seasons and really captured us and had us invest in the series. Then for them to do that with some really bizarre stuff that they forced us to accept due to the type of show it was, and then rape us with that ending, which could have been perfectly fine as long as we knew what happened before the ending even started, is disrespectful.
Since you apparently don’t get why we are disgruntled let me say it as plainly as possible:
- The ending itself is not a problem at all.
- There are lots of details left out from the 90% of the show before the “beginning of the end” and that is the main problem.
- Another problem is the idiots that attempt to argue with us and disagree with point 2 by saying “dude its a happy, sweet ending.” …we don’t disagree with that, we’re saying we expected more answers and are pissed off that we didn’t get them. We expected them to be in the ending because they were nowhere else on the show. We’re in stasis because people aren’t understanding what we’re arguing.
We’re arguing “We think the ending should have had more answers because we didn’t get them during the main plot”. You’re arguing “The ending was good and really gave us closure on the characters.”.
DaDesiCanadian owned you so you should have just unsubscribed to this thread and moved on.
lol
I have another question I’d like answered, what ever happened to Sawyer’s daughter???
kidnapped and sold into the sex trade.
Well im pretty sure she got taken care of, remember Sawyer did that con in the jail for i think $100,000 or something like that & he put it into Swiss Back account. Also, im pretty sure Sawyer will try to find her & have a life together…
Can someone answer why certain people were in the Church & others werent? Really i just want to know why Boone was there? Also, Penny was never part of the island crew.
Anyway i like how the ended it, its the same way the started it…

the important people from season 1 plus penny (because they didnt have time to conclude her story with desmond).
Ah yeh most instense first 10 minutes of any pilot, no wonder I was hooked. Looks like Hugo did actually lose some weight
lol at Charlie wondering around
I need some crack…
plane engine slams to the ground behind him
I need some crack
So why isn’t Michael & Walt there?
At first i thought the people there were the ones who were able to show the light & allow the insert character to “let go” but im curious why Boone was there. Libby for Hugo & Shannon for Sayid yeah but w/ a Boone assist? They should have had Boone & Locke do some bromance or something & it would make more sense.
Or not include Desmond & Penny at the church scene would have made sense too…
its not important people from season 1, but people who are important to Jack’s life. I really can’t remember much of Boone’s character other than he was eager to impress Jack and Locke. We know what happened to Michael he explained that to Hugo. What we don’t know is what happened to Walt, maybe aliens took him, maybe thats what Michael was trying to tell us all along.
michael died trapped on the island and wasnt part of the group’s shared sideways world, while walt was written out of the series.
Ok why did Desmond force them to “Let go” in the Flashsideway? Who made him Haley Joel Osment
