Fuck lost man , season 6 was such a pile of bullcrap it ruined the whole sense of the lost mythology and pretty much overwrote all the seasons before such a waste of time .

Shit like this is why I’d hate to be a tv writer. Whether they spoke Latin or not seems to really have drawn you out of the overall experience and the big picture. People want every little thing to be explained. Things just can’t “be there”, instead everything has to be deliberate. Would it have made you feel better if they stopped for thirty seconds and went " hey guys, we aren’t doing the latin part because we aren’t others, and we don’t have time for this shit"?
I finished the show. I don’t feel it was a waste of time. I am irritated that some things weren’t more clear, but I’m sure on some repeat viewings with the wifey that I’ll nail some of it down. My biggest issue was with the island as a whole, and I didnt like the shift from the mystery of the show to a sort of fetch-quest thing with Flocke.
I did, however, enjoy the fuck out of the ending. Getting closure on the characters and having them find what they needed really hit home with me. I didn’t care if Hugo guarded the island for 1000 years. I didn’t care about Claire and Kate raising Aaron. I did care about seeing everybody come away from an experience that took everything from them ( it took locke’s life, for fuck’s sake) replaced it with something else. Replacing the emptiness with purpose. Replacing peoples emptiness with some one… That was dope. Jin and sun, Sawyer and blondie, Charlie and Claire, and of course, jack and Kate. When Kate said she had missed him for so long… That was deep. Props to Evangeline lily for that shit.
Anyway, I know a lot of you are still upset. What questions would you have liked to see answered, that haven’t been cleared up now?

i just watched the entire thing over the past 2 months and i have to apologize for defending season 6
tho the last episode is awesome and i still cry at the end, the rest of s6 was so bad
