They clearly showed him walking past Locke’s body. He’s not using Locke’s physical body.
sorry yea i meant image not body sorry
Jacob’s Mom is top tier:
“I’m sorry”, FADC, Ultra - (head hit)
Random thoughts
All this talk about past episodes has reminded me of something, remember a couple of seasons back Richard met Locke as a child, he also called Locke “Special”, and this may be why Smokey was drawn to Locke aswell, so it would make sense that Smokey was MiB’s soul
Regarding the apparent lack of explanations for the Egyptian stuff on the island, we weren’t told what time period this episode was set in, going by the clothing worn by both women and the fake mom’s hair piece it reminded me very much of the imagery from Greek and Roman methology (and the scales in the cave keep bringing back to this aswell*). Unfortunately we never saw the ship Jacob’s mum was on that would have been a huge clue.
- Ages ago when the smoke monster first appeared some people thought Smokey was Cerberus (guard dog to the gates of hell), which I am leading back towards again.
*theory. Rather than protect the light in the cave, because of the MiB’s need to get off the island Smokey carries it (safest place)
WHERE are the dead people coming from?
This show got so stupid. Remember when they said there was a logical explanation for everything? Yeah…right.
Check out some of this awesome LOST fan art - http://weburbanist.com/2010/05/12/lost-tribute-fantastic-to-freaky-lost-themed-fan-art-pics/
Personally, I don’t mind if the mysteries don’t all have logical explanations…what I do mind is having to do the writer’s job to understand 6 seasons (and why now in retrospect at least half of them were completely pointless i.e. season 1 about a hatch; season 2 about pushing a god-damn button) worth of episodes AND being told off for asking questions in the first 5 freaking minutes! (crazy mom tells real mom that every answer she gives will create more questions…)
This was on kate level of bad. Maybe even worse, given that they have 2 episodes left.
wow I can’t believe those 5 inch figures sold for $815 :wtf: lmao @ GI PHARAOH
Remember in season 1 or 2 when there was a dharma supply drop from the sky? yeah where the fuck did that come from? fuck this show.
Yeah… try to ignore that…
Also, does anyone have any idea why Smokey didn’t kill all of the others in all the years they were there? Maybe he needed them to complete his master plan? Was Jacob protecting them? When Jacob left the island to meet all of the 6, was that just when Smokey decided to make his move?
I don’t think that’s right.
When Jacob threw the human MIB into the tunnel of light, he suffered a fate worse then death. This was what Foster Mom was referring to. His human body died… however his soul/essence transformed into the black smoke. MIB lost his humanity at this point. The MIB as the smoke monster is able to take on MIB’s human form as MIB’s human body was dead. MIB is the first and only smoke monster. Some people were saying that foster mom was a smoke monster but that isn’t right as MIB was able to kill her with a knife which shouldn’t be possible.
It is the same person as the rules that applied to MIB when he was human, apply to MIB as a smoke monster. (I.E. Can’t leave the island. Can’t kill Jacob).
I think smokey is unable to kill them because they are all potential candidates - probably a rule or some such made by jacob. Instead, smokey was trying to go around another way via locke.
Well keep in mind that Jacob had a huge list of candidates and a lot of them were others. Until their name is crossed off the list, I don’t think Smokey can kill them. And we don’t really know when Jacob crossed their names off the list.
well after that episode smokey is a good guy now and jacob is a retarded dumbass
MIB killed his foster mom in a very important way. (1) He stabbed her with the blade that they have been trying to kill each other with (Jacob and MIB) AND she didn’t get a chance to speak before he got the blade in. (Which is what Jacob and MIB said to whoever they sent to kill the other. ) “Don’t let him speak, if he does, its too late!”
Quick question. I have the first season. Should I even bother watching it? Lost seems to be something that’s good when you can discuss it with people while it’s happening. I’m wanting to know if I should even bother.
Yes, the first season is very good. Really I’ve never cared about discussing the mysteries with people.
