Yo…if you have a couple of these at EVO I’d love to pick one or two up.
It has been decided that this’ll be part of the design of the Gloom - as soon as they’re available I’ll take 12.
I got word from my machinist yesterday that he’s able to get me only a handful, and then we’re concentrating on getting drawings done for fab house quote while I’m away at EVO. It’s been a busy 2 weeks for both him and I but I think we have the design finalized and ready though. I’m SUPER excited how these look/function now… really couldn’t be happier with it.
Stay tuned though, today will be a bit rough in terms of getting ready for EVO as well as picking up those couple (the guy lives like an hour and a half away). I AM going to do that twitter deal before I leave though. In any case, I’ll be around so stop me and say Hi!

Thanks Phreak for letting me pick one up. The modding gods were on my side. And it was especially convenient since this was me going to EVO without it, and coming home with it. So here are my initial impressions so far.
The build feels really solid and gives something very stylish to the stick. It sits at the right height and isn’t too high or too low when playing. You won’t really notice the difference.
The way that it connects on, depending on how you hold your stick, MIGHT be a problem for you, ie if you tend to grip it like a wine glass and pull up when you make moves, your stick is coming off.
I found its a lot easier to pack my stick (HRAP T5 if anyone is wondering) and bags, both the EVO stick stack, as well as the Brokentier World Warrior bag, and it sits nicely, because there isn’t that added bump from the stick, meaning if you’re packing it in a car, bag or whatever, it makes it a lot easier if you want to throw a book in with it, because its sitting flat now.
I am going to put some more testing into it when I get home, IE playing with it for a long period of time and report back. Right now, sitting in the airport, bored out of my mind, haha, its given me time to just sit here and look REALLY weird

Glad you’re enjoying it, don’t let me forget to get you a new base piece when these are in production. Although, the up side is that you DO have the only fully bored out version in the world at the moment (even mine isn’t :P). Please test the crap out of it, let me know if you find anything. Jebitron gave me a TON of play feedback about the weight and feel to it (still need to get back to you if you are reading thing, thank you so much for the FB) so I’m pretty confident in things as they are but more eyes on things is always good.
On Friday (in a sheer bout of luck) I got to sit down at the Focus Fire table and talk to people for a while. I was by the spot where people were playing Tony Hawk and the Doritos game, lol. You may have swung by and just not realized it was me. I tried to put out stickers and stuff to show who was there, I was also wearing my TT shirt
