SUGOI!
My stuff is shown on internet.
OMG… when will these be ready… i really want one… now!!! lol =0
I dind’t get to meet phreak and get his stickers. =(
You didn’t meet me either! :annoy:
I like that picture:
“Excuse me Mike Ross - I’ll thank you to not interrupt.
Now if you’ll let me finish, what I was saying was that The Link…”
ya i wore my sticker on my hat… not many people recognized me lol…
i’m sorry i didnt get to meet more tech talkers…
Damn, Im dumb. I didnt grab any stickers from you Phreak.
I missed the stickers too!
Only been home a day and already I’m wanting to pull my stick apart to install this. Gonna do it later, was epic meeting you Phreak!
Other than Friday it was kinda hard to find me, lol. I wasn’t in the hall like…at all on Saturday and Sunday obviously is just a lot of craziness. I’ll try to be at more events this upcoming year for sure when things calm down a bit on my end.
LOL, it was cool meeting him for sure, and the fact that this product interested him is doubly cool (props to Purplearms for pointing him my way, I owe you like 10 beers). I look like I’m waiving my finger or something but really I’m just holding the other piece of the Link and not even realizing finger placement, haha.
Don’t feel bad, I too am very very dumb. I was sitting there forever and still never snagged your warranty voided stickers at all. lol, as soon as I got up for a while and came back everything was like cleared off so i couldn’t get straggling things like stickers. I’m also stoked to install the Spark, I can’t wait. I don’t ever plan on running my stick on anything but USB so I’m not too worried about extra stuffs (there’s WAY too much shit in there for lower voltage operation anyway). If you need a hand doing the converter design/layout let me know, I’m always good for a quick question on layout n’ stuffs.
You too! Always fun meeting people with awesome accents by the way, haha. Let me know how you like it after you get it installed!
In related news, drawings for quotation should be done relatively soon here (like…maybe this weekend if not tonight) so I can put out for quotes next week and get the ball rolling. During EVO I got a better idea on what range to quote so I’m really excited to get that process done.
Also, the twitter thing was fun but only like 16 people actually entered >.<. Oh well, I’ll run another when the first run is complete.
Deng I wish I didn’t miss the first twitter run… Sad face. Again dope stuff Phreak! Wish I was at EVO this year to hunt you down. Eagerly waiting to purchase
No winner from twitter
Great Product Phreak! Installed it on a stick I am working on… so convinient to take the shaft out so I have a flat surface to work on when I flip the case over while working on internals!.. This will become one of my “must have” for all my future cases! thanks for selling me one at EVO! Now I want ten more haha…
Yeah I’m waiting for one too. I want to have my stick shipped and this would help soo much
If anyone finds a good protective case for carrying the shaft, ball and dustwasher in, I’d love to hear it. Preferably a zip up, semi-hard case like I store my Oakley’s in.
I wonder if there are any such cases like that for storing photography film. Hmmm.
Pelican cases are definitely something to look into. I know they make small ones for holding memory cards and stuff, so I’m sure something might work with some modding.

Theres one option. 43mm high so that should easily fit a standard balltop.
wait what? only 16 people entered? did you have to do more than just follow your twitter feed?
I just ordered one of these:
That should fit a Link top and ball, as long as the thickness is close to the case width. I’ll definitely post up if it fits well.
Yeah I found that flipping a stick over to work on it was much easier now, haha… a side benefit for modders for sure.
Oh, yeah I had people follow and re-tweet… or RT for short (I was told I should have people do both, it makes sense). I used the “your tweets, retweeted” thingy and it showed 16 people. It didn’t take much but I figured it would have gotten more people, maybe next time it’ll get more but ran it the entire weekend.
Nice, those look cool. Definitely post up how it works out, I may have to snag one as well.
I’ve installed it and frankly, I love it! Though the hex bolt, I don’t know if it’s just that my hex key is a little worn, but it seems that a 3mm doesn’t quite fit flush on it? I’ll try my other keys later and see which works perfect.
I chucked an LS-32 spring with it, since the extra weight probably would’ve needed a stronger spring to return to neutral better. I’ve never used shaft covers anyway so this was absolutely perfect.
So impressed with the design of how you put it all together <3
