Beta run will be complete next thursday/friday instead of this weeek, my friend is unfortunately swamped with personal stuff (understandable, I am too). I may send out requests for addresses and PP estimates to beta testers beginning of next week so keep an eye on your inbox. This way I can get them in the mail the day after they’re built.
Unfortunately, he thinks that the actual factory may not have the time anymore to build an entire run before EVO (they might require 4 weeks), but I’m still crossing my fingers. If nothing else, he’s agreed to build me a small run to bring to EVO (think of it as a gamma run of units :p). So I still plan on having them at EVO, but it mayyyy not be as many as I thought, which means people will just have to follow my twitter to find me easier/faster if they want one before anyone else, lol.
Are you only going to be selling these at Evo, or are they possibly going to be available online as well? I can’t make it out to EVO due to the fact that I’m leaving the country at the end of July for 5 years, and money is kind of tight right now. I was hoping I’d be able to get one before I split so I could make packing up my carry-on bag, which usually holds my stick and my laptop easier.
For now, my goal is only at EVO. Things will get too complex if I try and take orders beforehand. If this whole “gamma run” of them happens, the actual production run will probably be done right after evo and I can open up shop to buy them immediately online.
I wish I could get you one sooner, but I can’t make any promises on it.
No idea how that’ll be done yet. Other than a few select people who have something that this will impact/benefit/not benefit, I may have some left over that I have an idea about but can’t share just yet

Ok boys and girls, here’s the dealio (yes i used that term, hate away)
Full production run probably wont’ happen at EVO, so I’ll have a super limited amount with me and won’t be taking orders beforehand, more of a second beta run if you will. So you’ll have to find me right quick to get one in person. I’ll post up the exact count before I leave obviously, but for now it’s beta run time to get tweaks in to where I’m happy enough to make a run. I don’t want to rush things just to have something at EVO…I’d rather hold off until I’m 100% happy and ready for the public to have these.
In beta news, I only got a handful, and have 1 left after selecting the initial testers…and that’s where the fun begins. I’m gonna try running one of these weird twitter deals with the re-tweet and follow thing. I’ll probably let it rip for 24 hours and then randomly pick someone to be the final beta tester. I’m gonna do this just for funsies, because I’ve been hella stressed lately and would like to have fun with this for the first time in a while.

If everything turns out like I hope people shouldn’t have to save much. I’d like to make this as accessible as possible since I think it’s utility can be seen by a whole lot of players. Plus I think it’d be pretty darn sweet to see a room full of people who are using them :). No promises yet though.
Just got my beta test unit in the mail today. Just installed it. It works great. The gripping collar is really strong, doesn’t feel like it wants to slip off, removing and reattaching the shaft is as easy as can be. Put it on my mini stick, I’ll be definitely travelling to EVO with this thing. Definitely will try to find you so you can take a look at it in person.
The only thing that changes is the shaft, everything else is stock.
Thanks for the pics RT, play on it for a while and let me know if there are any differences you feel, any weirdities that arise (spring comes out of place or something), and if you could improve on it at all what things would you try and do.
Man, in one of those mini cases it truly is the perfect travel stick now.
Not sure how many I’ll have at EVO, we’ll see but it may be more of a show and tell event. We’re working on some tweaks, but both myself and my machinist are insanely busy these days.
