I would pay! Really nice paints.
Oh damnit, NOW you have colored versions? Loving the Link my bro got me for xmas. Care to elaborate more on the fixes and “deadzone” issues though? I’m imagining that you’ve reduced that little “wiggle” at the base I assume? Also, it holds tighter now? I have to be careful sometimes when playing Gief or Gouken when churning the butter.
Rosser is doing some experimentation to see what can be done and how far we can take the color options.
The fix that’s been in place for a couple of months: The link between the two pieces is now stronger… much stronger. Early adopters sometimes had issues with the top popping off… not so much anymore. Anyone with issues can feel free to PM/email me, a swap of the base piece is all that would be required pretty much. This fix was accomplished via a manual grind on the base alone.
Fix that rosser is working out: The enhanced deadzone caused by an oversight. It’s not horrible by any means, but it does bug some people who are more in tune with the performance of their JLF. Most people can adjust in 20 minutes of play, other swap springs/etc. Rosser is trying to do a “hot fix” of sorts that should reduced the wiggle that causes this, possibly eliminating it entirely and giving better performance than the stock shaft.
Rosser’s hotfix will be very beneficial, since I can’t officially fix it until I remake units, and that’s some ways off still.
I posted this earlier about the wobble, in case anyone wants a visual:
I managed to fix the dead zone that some were nitpicking about now I can get them down to zero dead zone less than the Original JLF.
Layering the matte black powder around on the lower section of the link, so there is less play (none really) in space between the white pivot and the shaft. Powder coating is different from standard paint it can be layered and is a lot stronger than standard paint
I figured I should re-post this on the official thread
how much
Check you PM’s pal theres all kind of B.S from me
Are you talking to me? or Clayton I’m doing them for Clayton. If you are looking for a fix with the dead zone on a link you already own we can figure out something, but wait till Clayton gets the ones I shipped to him that should be arriving sometime early next week and he does some testing and then we can go from there.
I was asking you how much for the red. The dead zone doesn’t bother me but if it’s fixed then cool.
You might want to wait till I pick up a different shade maybe a translucent red
So out of the 5 powder coated colors Trans Blue,Matte Black,Red,Black Stardust Flip/Flop,Bonded Black Chrome
Whats colors do you guys like the most  to the least:tdown: and what color and shade would you like to see
Seimitsu deep pink.
Black and White, preferably shiny but matte is OK
dark red to match the sanwa buttons!
Stoked to get these test units, even more stoked to try out your hotfix Rosser.
I’ll keep people posted when they arrive.
On to the color topic I get requests for Black and White, mostly black matte tbh.
Perhaps one small batch of expensive glow in the darks, LOL. I would so rock that.
cool You should be receiving them today. As for glow in the darks maybe sometime in the future. I need so save up some play money to test it out its a pricey additive that need to be added to a lite colored powder to get the effect. I need to email the manufacturer as I have some questions like does it tint the color its added to and such. Also I found the link nub I mentioned that I had misplaced which might end up be a good thing so I can do some adjustments to a test model without you having to mail me another.
When you get a chance Clayton can you answer the PM I sent you. I know I should not speak as I’m not the best at answering PM’s.
Are all those Links resting on a Sega Virtua Stick High Grade by chance? :lovin:
Beautifully done
Ohhh trade me a bottom shaft clayton lol.
I don’t have any of them right now. you’ll want to talk to rosser about getting that done, those ones in the picture need to come back to me to do some final testing before anything.
