I am not familiar with dynasty warriors and they characters but I hear theres alot, even you could play as henchmen and some other low-tier scrub
so I guessing if they did DBZ tenkaichi style I would lose it

Except most of the main/relevant characters in Zelda are women. So that’s kinda hard to do when rely the only relevant males are Ganon and link.
I also want a Zora, Deku Child and Goron as playable characters. They won’t be the ones from Majora even though they clearly are based on their move sets.

Yea but there are still males in the world of Hyrule. We can have a male Goron, a male Zora, they had no problem making up some generic as hell little chick, so make some new characters that are represented by the other races of Hyrule. There’s also Russle from TP, Groose from SS, There’s uh…um…hmmm…I’m blankin…Dammit.
Point still stands, more males! There’s no reason they can’t make up new characters that still fit in within the universe of Zelda on top of giving representation to species from the series that generally get a lack of heroic representation.

Zelda only has a relevant female cast…and amazingly I’m surprised no SJW has complained about the gap in male/female representation. Guess it’s only progressive when there are more women.

I have to disagree with the clamor for more males.
I want to hear “more relevant characters!” this thing in every game where we need this fictional gender balance is silly. Whoever’s good is good gender is irrelevant. Generic races? Why even bother? A specific member of each race? Now we’re talking.
I will say the waifu they made for this game is stupid as hell though.
It’s not about gender balance. I don’t give a shit about gender balance. I just want a few more male characters, because male characters are also cool. I’m not asking for generic races, I’m asking for cool characters who are also a part of those races. Zora are bad ass. Gorons are bad ass. Hylians aren’t the only bad asses in Hyrule. We have a lot of bad ass females, lets some bad ass males to please.
Gender balance has fuck all to do with it. I’m not on some crusade here, I like both males and females as playable characters, it would be cool to see some more male representation here.
Zelda does have nice Male characters. Not much but they’re there, but I do want a Goron in and have him be the grappler who can Grapple the boss type enemies.
And it’s not like Tecmo is a stranger to making up movesets for random characters.

I just want to see some more males, that’s all. The females can out number the males 2:1 for all I care, but more then just Link would be nice. Hyrule must have produced more males with some ball sacks then just Link right?
Personally I want playable Ganondorf.
There isn’t much male characters though and that’s the point. All the female characters in the game had relevant roles in some way or another. If we include male characters they would be boarder line generic or forgettable supporting characters…who cares if it’s 20:1 female to male ratio so long as the characters are good.
If useless as fuck Agatha gets to be a character then useful characters like Russel are game to.
