An official alternate control scheme does not need to support every single part of the game.
You can’t make this shit up. 
I dunno how it works on Switch, but if you’re on Wii U and playing on the Pro Controller, you can do fuck all about these shrines. Game straight up tells you you need the gamepad for those.
You either need to pick up your gamepad or turn back.

You think it’s no big deal to switch the controllers since the gamepad comes as a standard with all Wii Us.
I think that the alternate input of the Pro Controller as recognized in-game should be fully functional (Seriously, they could just allow people to move the blocks with the analog stick and this convo wouldn’t have happened.) and it breaks immersion to have to switch controllers for simple puzzles.
So can we just agree to disagree and go on about our business or would you rather keep this name-calling?

Has anyone ever played the Wii U version of BotW? I heard the Pro Controller doesn’t work for some of the shrines. Just wondering if that’s annoying or not.

Nope but I heard you can alleviate any issues you have by using the Wii U tablet the comes with the console.
