Oot Link is not cool. Dude has the mind of a ten-year-old trapped in a man’s body… Malon was practically throwing the pussy at him, and all he could think about was riding Epona around Hyrule Field.
OOT/Majora’s Mask Link is more lame than Skyward Sword Link, the only Link know to bang Zelda.
Their romance was one of Skyward Sword’s selling points.
Other Links better than OOT/Majora’s Mask
LTTP Link
Links Awakening Link
Oracles’ Link
Triforce Heroes Links (all 3 of them, even if they are wearing Zelda’s Dress).
Hyrule Warriors/Dynasty Warriors Link
Linkie (the Girl)
Minish Cap Link
4 Swords Adventure Link/Links
80s Cartoon Link (Excuse me Princess) BEN Drowned (you’ve met with a terrible fate haven’t you)
Kirby Link Philips CD-i Link
OoT/MM link was essentially floating around the 7-10 year age mentally throughout both of those games, that includes being frozen away for decade and suddenly he has the body of a near Adult. It’s pretty understandable how he wouldn’t be trying to ‘jump into pussy’.
I know. But that childish innocence is why he can never truly be “cool”… He lacks the experience and confidence to come across as a badass.
Brave, pure of heart, loyal, and a strong desire to do the right thing? OoT Link has that in spades… But that cool, calm level of swag and sureness Twilight and BotW Link have? He doesn’t have it, and he lacks the expressive character and endearing charm of WW Link and LttP Link also.
Oot/MM Link gains that experience and confidence through his adventures. I’d dare say any sort of naivety OoT/MM Link had ended the moment he woke up from stasis and saw how much the world had changed and some of the people he knew from before had died. I’d also imagine having to relive the end of the world constantly would harden anyone instantly.
I can’t say anything about swag cause TP probably has it oozing out himself. I still wish you some of the other Links could put a small ! on the end of a fight with that sword flourish that he does.
Woman tried to reconnect with her dead husband via the physic powers of Whoopie Goldburg
ignoring that
Link has so many people that want to jump is bones.
Its like every young (and not so young) woman NPC wants Link.
Everyone from bored house wifes in Kakariko village, every woman stable hand at a horse stable, half of the Gerudo, the Hylian women in Gerudo city, even Beedle has the hots for you.
Even the Benjamin Button character herself thinks Link is Hot.
Twilight Princess Link and ALBW Link is the best link…because those are the best games.
Big Zelda fan here, and I will buy Nintendo systems just to play Zelda…but I have the fear of playing BOTW because I think it might ruin the franchise for me.
I really don’t want to play Skyrim Zelda or Fallout Zelda and that’s what this game looks like to me.
What? BOTW might ruin the Franchise?
There haven’t been a Zelda game since the original NES title that has the sense of vast exploration and non-linerar game play.
You can get up on high like a tower or mountain top, pin a location and spend hours of play time trying to get to that point.
I been playing the game almost every day for two months and I still find things I haven’t seen yet. And everything except for the initial tasks and the end boss is completely optional.
You chose how you play the game and explore.
BOTW Link gets to score with up to four separate giant women, several times over the course of the game. Not even Zelda 2 Link got as much action, and he didn’t even come close to action of that, ahem, magnitude!
BOTW Link survived Snu Snu! NOBODY survives Snu Snu!
Next to that, planting a sword into someone’s forehead is literally child’s play.
BOTW has the exploration aspects, but they don’t play the same.
Much of the bulk of Skyrim and Fallout is filler. Alot of Fetch Quests, backtracking, radiant quests (General another settlement needs your help).
In BOTW no two quests are the same, even the few fetch quest that are there. You never get a NPC who says give me 10 X unless that NPC is repeatable
If it’s better than Skyward Sword, I might consider it. I played through skyward sword and enjoyed it, but it got incredibly tedious towards the end, going through the same places over and over (forest, fire, water) but with different variations.
None of that Skyward linear shit here. This game is almost too damn free. You have to do the shrines on the plateau, but after that, the whole world is open to you.
You can go anywhere and do anything you choose in any order you please so long as you have the skills to pay the bills.
