Go off and kill enemies, go back to the pedestal at night, if it doesn’t activate at midnight, start killing more enemies until the next night.
Simply camping did nothing for me, when I started going after enemies, it only took two nights for the blood-moon to rise.
Yeah that shit got annoying. I just setup a camp fire and passed the time.
BOTW Link needs to be the new Link for the next Super Smash Bros. Runes, Champion abilities, Paraglider recovery. Would be freakin’ sweet.
Also, where are my World of Nintendo BOTW toys, Nintendo? You already know they got plans for multiple Link armor sets alone.
I’d probably set a marker at the pedestal and then just go elsewhere and do something else until the blood moon happens then use the closest warp point to get there.
So I just realize from another thread that BOTW is mostly grind, and very little is actually required to see the ending.
With all you need is a pot lid, a tree branch and masterful timing of the parry system you can head off to Ganon with 3 hearts.
Anything else is an optional “grind”.
I also notice any Amiibo works with BOTW. The Random Amiibo just gives you random food items (usually low level common stuff).
I tried this with a Mega man and a Armed Samus Amiibo.

most of the shrines are fun, too many tests of strength imo.
Holy shit, 120? Fuck, I’ve only activate three towers so far and feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface.
the game is pretty big. just take it at your own pace and enjoy. i didn’t rush to get all 120 shrines. i only did it yesterday and i bought the game on launch
Take your time, go into areas on your map that has zero markers and search around. Talk to NPCs.
Sometimes the NPC gives you shrine quests to complete, and most of these ether has a puzzle to solve or a clue to find/reveal a shrine.
There’s one area where it won’t stop raining until you finish a story quest
Booted up the game for the first time in a while and got a Blood Moon the first nightfall.
Currently sitting at 112 shrines and looting Hyrule Castle. I thought I one memory left in just the hyrule one but apparently I missed one in a forest area. Probably gonna finiah exploring the castle then go attempt to go find that memory before Ganon.
Most of the memories give you decent landmarks to go on except that one.
Good luck trying to find that one without a guide. Only clue they give you is hey, there’s trees.
I got lucky on this one. I just happened to be running through the area and was like … ooo shiny … oh it’s a memory.
You can also try finding that painter who can point you in the right direction. I’m not sure what triggers him to appear though.
Visit stables. He usually pops up at them and will point you in he direction of he nearest memory location.
I actually fought Ganon a week ago and beat the game. I’ve still been playing to max out my inventory space and get every shrine. There are places I haven’t explored and I’m amazed at how many Korok seeds I’ve unknowingly walked right by.
I had a chance to pick up an 8-bit 30th anniversary Link amiibo on several different occasions but passed it up. Now due to short supply on Zelda amiibos that sucker is selling for more than twice the price online.
All the legend of Zelda amiibos are going for a lot now due to BotW.
