I am soooo tempted to ask you guys where I can find this and that but I love the joy I get from discovery in this game. Yesterday, I finally filled in the whole map. I was sad to see it all fill up and then I looked it over and saw there was A LOT of areas I never even went to. Divine Beasts? Haven’t touched them yet, but maybe I’ll do one Sunday after work.

He gave me 100 rupees to take out two Guardians right across from the town and when I came back to him, he gave me 20 rupees and basically told me to get lost. I have never wanted to beat up an NPC in a Zelda game in my life.
So I got all the Wind Waker armor but the Twilight and Ocarina final pieces are being stubborn since I just need the tops to have both set. My amiibos aren’t giving me what I want!
If you use your amiibo in the great plateau supposedly it helps your chances because epona can’t spawn there.

So how many Lynel variants are there? I’ve counted 4 so far.
The red-maned one, silver maned with a blue body, white maned with zebra-esque coloring, and most recently I stumbled upon a black-maned one.

Of course, the one place I didn’t look, since I did the shrine and called it a day. At least I found a bunch of Koroks and weapons.

In the process of going after my first Divine Beast, Vah Ruta. Just getting into that sucker was freakiing cool!
How are you guy’s liking the music to BOTW? I know the piano is the most prominent instrument, but I love the way it gets used. This calm, almost depressing music playing outside Vah Ruta after I told that broad to STFU with that rain is aces.
I adore the music in botw. I’m a big fan of nature sounds and ambient tones in general. However I do want more traditional zelda melodies next time. a nice mix of the two styles would be perfect for me. id rather the ambient piano over say, the hyrule field theme from majoras mask which is soo “triumphant” sounding its annoying.
My favorite music is when you watch some memories and they play the classic zelda song in a really soft piano only tune. Something about that I just really enjoy.
God damn this dude, got to look for 3 Sunshrooms and I am looking though the whole Gerudo valley and found shit.

Yeah they could have done just a biiiiit more but otherwise it’s perfect. I love the maze/lost forest music, and the Hyrule castle music. I love that the music in towns changes slightly from day/night. It’s nice hearing the classic theme kind of deconstructed here and there but I would like to hear a really powerful rendition of it somewhere in the game.
Played for over 130 hours, and I didn’t know you could drop bombs while gliding.
Just got to Goron City… The little Gorons remind me of Munchlax for some reason. Gonna hunt some Fireproof Lizards to upgrade this Fireproof armor.

Over the weekend a streamer finally beat Breath of the Wild, not realizing that the voice actor of her favorite character had been watching the whole time.
Haley Ojedi, who streams and makes gaming videos on her YouTube channel, didn’t think her subscribers would even be interested in her streaming the ending to Breath of the Wild, but after stumbling into the final boss, she decided to go live anyway. As she was fighting Calamity Ganon, her friend decided to tweet at Sean Chiplock, who voices Revali, Haley’s favorite character in the game. Ojedi’s friend invited Chiplock to watch the stream, and, to everyone’s surprise, he did.
“I had been so consumed in the fight with Calamity Ganon that I didn’t even notice Sean had started to make comments in the live chat,” Ojedi told Kotaku. “It wasn’t until the end credits started rolling that Sean started to say who he was.”
In the YouTube stream, when Ojedi realizes that Chiplock is actually in her chat, she puts her hand over her mouth and screams, “Oh my god!” She looks ecstatic, and she described the moment to redacted as “insane.”
But it didn’t stop there. Chiplock not only recorded an adorable message in character as Revali, but topped off Ojedi’s ongoing donation drive to go to E3. “Wow did I start crying,” Ojedi said, “because this celebrity made my dream of going to E3 a reality, a dream I’ve had with my dad since I was little and first started watching it with him.”
“Breath of the Wild has become much more than a game now,” Ojedi said. “Not very many people get to say that they finished one of their favorite games of all time with the voice actor of their favorite character watching them fight Ganon until the end. I am so thankful to Sean Chiplock for being so kind when he definitely didn’t have to be.”

…I dunno. He’s cool but he’s a bit too much of an asshole for my tastes, as good of a job his VA does.
I prefer Teba overall.
Revali is Falco, if Falco was actually cool and capable at his job.
