The Legend of Zelda thread - Ganon's bodyshop will be open for business on Nov. 20th

what does she do?

Seek it out yourself and find out.

Just got off the Plateau

Should I B-line directly to the next objective or should I muck around first?

Spoiler

next stop being kakariko village

I know I ended up regretting not exploring enough early on, but you should probably get to a point in the main story where you have more than one potential goal before doing so.

Go to Kakariko, get equipped, then do whatever you want.

I think that’s the best way to do it, so you can get the major quests available as you muck about.

Oh So just like Skyrim. And then a month later I like “Who Ganon again”?

Shit I’ve put in over 80 hours and don’t even have the full map opened up. Zelda’s ass can wait.

‘I would go and deal with Ganon and his apocalyptic stuff but I gotta go catch these 10 restless crickets to help homeboy impress this inn girl he’s been stalking for a minute.’

Fuck those crickets

It’s like every Zelda game since at least A Link to the Past

I found a guy in Tarrey Town who sells gear that you can find out in the world. He even sells the starting gear in case you sold them like I did.

Once you find the [details=Spoiler]Hylian Shield[/details] he’ll sell that too.

It’s the only way to get more of those.

Oh, I had no idea about this, I’ve been so afraid to use it since it felt like a one-time thing. Thanks for the tip!

That damn thing is nearly unbreakable. It can tank at least 20+ Guardian Beams before it breaks.

I finally found 3 diamonds so I got the one head piece from the Gerudo jewelry shop that says it gives better guardian protection. I then did one of the shrines that had the “test of strength” and I think it was moderate, but the enemy in there hit me with the sword or spear and it took off like 1/2 a heart instead of like 6 or 8 hearts like it normally does. I’m curious to see how much it helps if you get nailed by a guardian beam.

im working on a second play through. i cant decide if i want to do the divine beasts or not. on one hand, i want to do the dungeons again but on the other hand i want to see what its like going without them and just going minimalist

So how many Lynel variants are there? I’ve counted 4 so far.

The red-maned one, silver maned with a blue body, white maned with zebra-esque coloring, and most recently I stumbled upon a black-maned one.

INFINITE SHIELD SURFIIIIIING

…also, 160 hours clocked now…and the map completion is only at about 35%. Since the Korok Seeds count towards getting 100%…

…hoooooo boy.

I am soooo tempted to ask you guys where I can find this and that but I love the joy I get from discovery in this game. Yesterday, I finally filled in the whole map. I was sad to see it all fill up and then I looked it over and saw there was A LOT of areas I never even went to. Divine Beasts? Haven’t touched them yet, but maybe I’ll do one Sunday after work.

There’s this one dude sitting on the edge in the back of Terry Town

Spoiler

He gave me 100 rupees to take out two Guardians right across from the town and when I came back to him, he gave me 20 rupees and basically told me to get lost. I have never wanted to beat up an NPC in a Zelda game in my life.

So I got all the Wind Waker armor but the Twilight and Ocarina final pieces are being stubborn since I just need the tops to have both set. My amiibos aren’t giving me what I want!

on my second play through I went right to hyrule castle to get a fairly good item that some will know what im talking about. It was way easier than I thought. Nekkid link can still hold his own. Lol @ killing guardians with a pot lid.

Lol at this side quest where the Gerudo broad basically strong arms her would-be suitor into giving me 120 rupees because I played matchmaker.
