I actually need to jump on the series. I used to peep TLA when it was airing. But since the game is a story tie in, I may still get it immediately or just wait until i watch up to that point. But I would like to support Platinum as soon as posssible though
not really. Watch that scene again when she refuses with Raava and it makes sense. Look at how huge she is when she is ripped out of Vaatu compared to how big she was when Vaatu ripped her out of Korra
Korra not being reliant on the Avatar State was IMO one of the best things about the series, especially Book 3. Alot of the problems in the series are ones that cannot simply be solved by the Avatar going all super saiyan and simply kicking ass. She has to deal with public opinion, politics, social issues, etc. With Zaheer specifically, she had to deal with a hostage situation where she just couldn’t go barging in and she was faced with a situation where she might have to sacrifice herself to save the new Air Nation. More importantly, it’s shown that, for all her brashness, she’s grown up enough to be able to not just barge in (like she would have in earlier seasons) and ask people for advice and, when push comes to shove, she’s more than willing to sacrifice herself for others - even going as far as trying to stop the Avatar State and just die so that the cycle can continue.
I don’t think that the game’s story is exactly tied in with the series. It seems loosely based on some of the events of the first 2 seasons, but the whole premise of the game (and that it’s not a spoiler) is that Korra lost all her bending and this never happens in the show.
Still, I strongly recommend the 2 series (Last Airbender and Korra) to anyone, especially if they are interested in playing the game.
PS: Now that I’m up to date with the show (just watched the first episode of Book 4), I’ll try to keep my opinions about the show itself on the appopriate topic. Sorry for all the off-topic here and thanks to those who offered their opinion about it

I didn’t watch or read any of the interviews, just saw all the gameplay videos and tought they were simply using assets from the first 2 seasons, like the giant mechas and the electrical gloves.

Hopefully the game is as good/fun as I’m anticipating it to be. Wash down the shitty nostalgia that came from playing those awful Avatar games back in the day.

I probably won’t be up until that late and I won’t play the game tomorrow morning (before leaving for work) either, so I’ll just play the game tomorrow at night, when I get home from work.
I completely forgot about this game. I’ll go for the PS4 version. Activision PC ports tend to be absolute shit.

Did about 2 or 3 levles of Korra this morning its pretty fun. They definitely made it simple but also fun enough to techy combat players. I’m just gonna hope the Ai gets tougher later, and hopefully you’ll foreal need to utilize the diff elements as you unlock them aside from “color coded” enemies or etc. But gonna restart it to actually see the story. Because i was skipping every cutscene just go get to the action
