I just got the game, I don’t know what I’m doing. Too many numbers and stats thrown at me, including items and things. Help!
Out of curiosity, I’d like to know if besides S3 SR Ranked, are there any other places we/you/anyone wants to focus on? I wouldn’t mind (and would enjoy) seeing some ranked TT, etc. I can see some ARAM lobbies being a really fun place to learn odd matchups, coordination, etc. Or just random fun shenanigans to allow for some casual playing/warming up in betwixt all the serious drilling, practicing, and improving we’re all aiming to do together.
Also, I’m really curios to see what “outside the meta” shit everyone here has to offer lawl.
Lastly, I’m pretty damn excited to learn from all y’all such as how to jangle and not be a complete ass-tard while doing so.

On that note, I almost never talk in game aside from necessary communication like timers / mias / objectives. Some people fucking talk too much
So what do I do?
There’s an in-game tutorial that will teach you quite a bit. The game should prompt you to do it the first time you log in. You can also find it as a selectable game type.
After that, you might try a co-op vs. AI game, though that’s not really a good place to learn. The bots are still pretty bad, though they’re much better than they used to be. You could also jump straight into an unranked game with other similar level players in solo-queue. You can also queue up with other people and maybe get some guidance from them. Most of the people posting here hang about in the SRK chat channel. To get there, open chat panel (looks like speech bubbles) in the lower right corner, and click the +chat bubble, then type in SRK and press enter.
I finished the basic tutorial, but than I tried to do the Battle tutorial and spent like an hour trying to kill their Crystal things, but kept getting bodied by their big guys before I ended the game. I got up until the quest to slay the Dragon. Also, the item purchasing is confusing as hell, am I buying the actual item or mats?
There are no “materials”, just items that can combine/upgrade into better items
Scumbag TSM, says they aren’t streaming because they need to practice for Regionals, are playing solo queue.
TSM just needs to make sure they ban TF so Regi can’t play him, otherwise they’re pretty set
