I don’t know what survey you’re talking about but it lied. It most definitely is not impossible on the Ps2 version. Only way you could make that statement is if you CAN do it on dreamcast and CAN’T on ps2. I’m guessing you don’t play on dc or WHY would you try on Ps2. Anyways, not trying to sound rude (sort of realized i may have come off that way), but I used to play on ps2 back in the day and I could definitely do it just like on DC.

yea i know its not impossible its jus im been tryin to doit it for months now and its even hard for me to doit on juggernaut and sentinel. can i get sum tips.

My Problem:

I cant seem to keep the combo counter counting while doing the infinite, i can keep my opponent in the air but after i land it stops, and my opponent is able to guard while still in the air.

Is this because i am not super jumping fast enough?

Hmm. Try super jumping right when you hit the ground. Also try not to let your opponent get too high or they will be to far up for u to keep the combo counter going. If that doesn’t work post here again.

i love when i tri-jump lk, lk instead of sj. lk, sj. lk after [ ad df lk, ad.lk, land, ]

i am so terrible :confused:

i cant seem to do the infinite on small characters. they always end up floating farther and farther up. how do i keep them from floating?

Look one page back at post where I quoted someone who asked the same question. See if that helps.

P.S. To that guy trying to make a survey on if the ROM is possible on the PS2 version, it sure is man, the timing is just a bit different but not drastic.

yeah but it was fucking me up because i wasnt trying to do it when it would happen. but i fixed the problem i was airdashing before i even superjumped for the lk,lk. so far i can only get characters across the screen before i fuck up.

and by that i mean across like one screen not across the whole level

About the rom on ps2 i finally got it down it was mostly just the timing of the addf lk, but i am having a hard time getting any resets to work, any tips on some easy / usefull resets.

Definitely try what archetype has been suggesting (sj.lk ad/df sj.lk, sj.lk)

I also use sh.lp, ad/df sj.lk, sj.lk or sj.lk, ad/df, sj.lk, sj.lp. Works almost* everyway you try it.

*Almost because you need to do ad/df sj.lk to keep them still.

Also to some of you who still can’t get it, make sure when you ad/df and do the sj.lk you are holding down to do his “crouching like air kick” this keeps them in the same place.

From what i’ve heard the timing for the Magneto stuff on X-Box is way tighter than any other. So I guess if your looking to achieve true precision then you should play x-box. This is just what i’ve heard, I’ve never even seriously played Magneto…

oh ok , thanks because i practiced for like an hour and a half and was getting pissed off. How do you connect the second pair of Ad.DF LK’s? because everytime i can land the launch, hk, ad.df lk ad.df lk, sj.lk, sj.lk, but how do i land the two ones after that ? i put the computer on autoguard in training mode and he always blocks those two kicks. Are you supposed to pause before after the first SJ.lks?
