The Last of Us

I thought the partner AI was kind of dumb because when you sneak around they’re running around in front of enemies. The enemy AI doesn’t detect your AI partner (thank god) but there was a disconnect with me when I’m trying to sneak and my partner is running around like an idiot.

Music is solid in this game. The slow songs were really foreboding for some scenes.

in that puzzle type encounter it feels really restrictive naughty dawg aiming is pretty sluggish an it really takes me out of focus. I mean I don’t mind playing by the rule but it just gets tired. especially with so many low points in the game with no action

it’s like the game is to focused on atmosphere than gameplay which I can’t really get behind.

Wait so who’s all playing multiplayer. I’m like 10-11hrs in and only 56% done. In the Sewers right now. Damn I feel like this singleplayer is going to take awhile to beat which I enjoy. I just don’t think I’ve played a single player game in recent memory who’s story was 10+hrs and that was good all the way through. And I’ll probably be online for some online multiplayer around 8-10pm EST.

That was my only complaint

I just took a break but me and the stream will be back on at about 8PM EST.

ok cool I’ll get on during that time. Can you ad me and put like SRK in the title or something so I just know in case I forget. I’d be down for some games w/ my fellow SRK peeps

May end up playing D&D COM instead…

nervous chuckle

It is silly, but at least most of the disconnects are done for the sake of better gameplay. Like…how some nails in a tin can is apparently a smartbomb…Or how a guy already carrying a shotgun, hunting rifle, sawed off shotgun, hunting revolver and a hatchet has room in his back pack for an assault rifle, a bow, a flamethrower, 3 molotives, 3 smart bombs, 3 medical kids, 3 smoke bombs and 2 pistols and a rather large assortment of pictures, newspaper clippings, bits of broken scissors, jars of sugar, dog tags scraps of rag and loose gun powder and assorted pills he found laying around is beyond me. Not to mention it doesn’t make any noise and nobody notices the long barreled rifle poking out from. Or how creatures who navigate entirely by sound always manage to miss the hushed conversations people have around them…or how the main character has better hearing than them, and can hear them through walls a huge distance away while they’re standing still and they can’t tell he is walking in front of them with a backpack full of glass bottles, tin cans and loose garbage.

okay we in there do I have any takers for TLOU Multi player?

we could wait a bit if you need to. Just making some pasta right now lol

What faction did you guys join when you started multiplayer? Does that have any bearing on forming parties? I choose Fireflies at the start and it doesn’t seem like I can switch.

Also, I’m doing survivor mode right now and there’s no listen mode. I’m not sure what I’ve gotten myself into. lol I think this is the mode people should be playing if they found normal too easy. So far I’m managing from what I remember of enemy patrol routes in normal mode. Not sure if they’ll change this up from normal mode as I progress farther into the game. I’m not looking forward to my first clicker encounter.

I joined the Miliia Fireflys.
You can switch once you complete the 12 weeks or when u lose.

Joel is one cold-blooded dude, yo…

ggs and sorry I had to end so abruptly. Roomate asked to switch the TV in the living room to the NBA game since it went to overtime lol.

No worries, I heard it through my headset lol. Thx for playing!

@SWBeta, You need to join us next time! I can always use a third!

This makes slightly happy I turned off listen mode when I started the game. I’m already used to not using it.

Holy shit I know! In the underground scene while I’m doing my best MGS impression, Ellie and Tess are playing ring around the rosie with a clicker! :bluu:

Spoiler

Is it me or did Ellie’s bite seem to be a little bigger at the end?

I noticed that too.

Sucks have an xbox.

Seriously.
