Main team: Yuri, Athena and L-Malin
Secondary team: Iori, L-Shingo and Shen
Any thoughts on these teams? I’ve heard that Shen is pretty greedy with meter so I may switch him out for K’. Also Athena seems kind of bad so I was thinking of bumping up one of my secondaries into the main team.
Those teams are very hard in high level tournaments to have success with…first team Yuri and Malin will do okay but Athena is gonna be your weakest link.
2nd team is your better bet… I’d rotate Shingo-L with Malin-L though.

I’d suggest trying Iori/Shen/Malin(L). Basically, then you can kill someone from anywhere on the screen a lot easier. Plus, Shen/Malin has an already built in true 100% stun combo as well as a simple ass damaging LDM combo. And Iori is a great battery for both Shen and Malin.
Try that and see how you like it.
Anyway as promised Da Mango Gato(NY Knicks color edit):
Shingo is actually surprisingly good as a leader. If you want to work really hard, then drop Athena. Even then, she doesn’t have much of a payoff. You might want to add a grappler to one of those teams. Maxima perhaps.
Shen does eat alot of meter but you can fix that by not making him leader. Although Iori is simple, I think he’s kind of watered down. He just isn’t what he used to be. Don’t get me wrong, he’s still good. He’s not good as a leader though.

Nice playing DG, last weekend we had a XI tourney and I could pull Duos LDM 95% of the time, youve been an inspiration for me, thanks man.
Well, could be that I’ve watched way too many vids but I wasn’t entirely impressed. Think I’ve seen just about everything you can do with most of the characters. I still like the game and mess around from time to time but I’m waiting on KOFXII for now. :tup: Really wish I could play you, though, or anybody else who actually plays this more than just casually.
So I have a combo question.
Does anyone know how to get a corner Ace finish with Jenet/Oz?
The closest I got was blah blah, punch/kick super(qs to oz), heart, diamond, heart, reverse ace (qcb e).
Everytime I hit the reverse ace, I miss the center by a fraction, causing all the hits, but not him getting above the opponent.
I’m switching out Malin for leader Oz on my main team, so it’d be nice to learn how to get ace off of Jenet’s supers in the corner.
You havent seen everything trust me… I thought that too after a while because I study match vids…but when I went to Mexico I saw just how little I know about the game…
When I go to Juarez to play Kane he will do even more stuff… I hopefully wanna throwdown with Taekua and the Mexi-Triad also…I wanna get astronomically better each time I go to Mexico…which tends to happen even in Juarez everytime I go…
I just hope I can compete for top 2 now in Juarez…

Just wait till the footage of me vs. Kane9998 and Rodo in Juarez hits…it’ll be far superior as far as match quality…
Duo Lon (L) is a scary bastard…he’s very intimidating and you’ve gotta respect one that has the LDM stuff on lock…
