The thing is I HAVE been watching nothing but mexico vids and sometimes some of yours. There is only so much you can do because of the game’s mechanics. Tell me what I haven’t seen or couldn’t think of on my own. It’s mostly quickshifts and mixing it up with a little creativity but that’s about it. There really isn’t anything that makes me go “wow” anymore since I can do all those things now. :lovin: I just wish I had some comp, my little bro is progressing but he’s nowhere near me yet as a challenge.
Yeah I understand that too…but its moreso how to think and the style of play…
Thats the things you will learn…Try to think WHY they are doing what they do…and sure you can “see” it on film…but you KNOW it when you play in person.
Sure you get the overall jist of it now…but even seeing it in person/playing in person and just watching it on vids are WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY different.
I can watch Taekua on film and I’ve played him in person A LOT.
I’ve gotten about 5x better from the 2 days playing him at the Juarez National…compared to probably getting maybe 2x better from watching it on film…
Also learn and master Morphthroughs!!!

Last tourney I followed your advice and used Gato/K/Duolon…and I won the tourney, nice. Anyway I was wondering if gato could be replaced by Oswald as a battery (thou i like martial artists…=/) sinceI think Oswald and Duo are a great combination (specially during Duolons LDM Qs combos) what do u think?
Congrats!! You could replace Oswald with Gato but I wouldnt…Gato’s still the best character in the game…
I’d replace maybe K’ with Oswald on your BACKUP team if they get past your first…
Yeah doing Duo’s LDM QS into Oswald’s ACE is a Taekua specialty and it means INSTANT DEATH…

I hope people have better defense at FR than at NEC8. From all the vids I watched, a lot of stuff went unpunished and people got away with a lot that they really shouldn’t have.

I’ve decided to get into this game and learn it little by little. My team is Kula, Malin, and Leader Athena. I heard that you should never play Athena without making her the leader, and I can’t not play Athena. Seriously. I fucking MUST play Athena.

Leader Athena isn’t as bad as people think, she just needs meter to be truly dangerous. Kula and Malin are good batteries, though.
