and where might I find these golden duck king matches? I’m really looking forward to learn how to use DK. as of now right now my team is consisting of shen, ash and janet. but I can’t seem to find a leader to stick with…and suggestions?
Jenet IMO is a really good LDM. The way I use her is as a counter but it can be comboed in as well. It’s probably safer to go with Ash since his is easy to do as well but in every video Hyper Hops are extremely abused and make it easy for Jenet to get a free LDM. I had my friend guessing how her LDM worked till one time I did it prematurely and it showed the counter animation. :lol:
lol yeah I understand, that happen to me too. my friend got upset cuz it came out of no where. I been looking for show Shen vids I think I only found like 2.

Jenets LDM is not a really good LDM…only way its a good LDM is if you do it NOT in the corner…why is this?
Because Jenet is open at the end of her LDM attack to be punished…
that’s one of reasons Janet is not my leader…in most of my major matches
Yea, but for casuals it’s fun to make her your LDM. I think that counter works on everything outside of a fireball and does close to Ralfs LDM damage which is great in my book. :tup:
Well, the thing is that Ash should probably be the leader for your team, but that means your execution of his LDM combos has to go up. Until then just keep Jenet as leader. You can get around the long vulnerable point in her LDM by keeping her midscreen when doing anything to do with it.
But it’s a really good LDM. So stick with that until you can get the Ash stuff down.
Also, the fact that Jenet’s LDM does so much damage makes it less likely that you’d get punished for using it. I have NEVER been punished when I used it because the times that I use it are either midscreen or the opponent can’t do anything since he’s low on health.

Yeah that’s true. Here’s something that can help though. This is the Ash crash course vid. Also his page on the wiki is pretty fleshed out. Here is the vid.

It pretty much shows you a lot of tricks and stuff you can do with Ash. If you spend some time practicing the stuff on that vid you’ll be alright. Once you get the Ash stuff down, you will find that Jenet/Ash(L) is a pretty competent duo, because the scheme is to pretty much push you to the corner, which Jenet is very good at in the right hands, and then land Ash’s Custom.
Ash’s main weakness is that he needs meter in order to decent damage.
So if you want to make him your leader, you’re going to have to be pretty dedicated to making him the focus of your team…meaning you need batteries and Ash’s LDM combos down flat.
As said, Jenet is a great teammate for Ash but then again she’s a great teammate for ANYBODY…she’s the most unselfish character in the game. She’s a good battery, doesn’t really need meter to do damage, matches up well with most characters.
Shen on the other hand is the MOST selfish character in the game. He blows through meter and stocks faster than Rick James blows through a million dollars in a coke party.
Having Leader Ash and Shen on the same team is somewhat counter-productive since they’ll be squabbling over who gets to hog the meter.

Man I love doing Kyos corner combo. What are some characters that you can have a good time comboing with? Nothing crazy like Ashs LDM though
