What parts do they mostly use in Mexico anyway?
Happ knockoffs I’m pretty sure.

98UM:
Dark Geese vs. Kula:

KOFXI:
Dark Geese vs. Kula:
Kula wins 5-3.
We use IL (Industrias Lorenzo) Stick’s and button’s since i have memory…
In some other places in Mexico City we also use Sanwa Stick and buttons.
Hummer got eliminated in the 2nd round by Skato. Grand Finals is what everyone wants to see: Zeus vs. Kula!!!
Tournament is finished I just arrived home, Zeus pulled off a shocking win defeating Kula in Grand Finas 7-6! Kula had Zeus down 6-4 and Zeus won three straight to win AGAIN!
Top 3 for 2002:
1st: Zeus (CD. Juarez, MEX)
2nd: Kula (Puebla, MEX)
3rd: Alexis (CD. Juarez, MEX)
Do us all the favor and just upload the Alexis vs. Hummer videos first. I’m sure a lot of people are looking forward to seeing that on account of the bickering some people have had in this forum before regarding Alexis as a player.
Thats a safe guess as it took a very very long time for the tournament to finish.
Some videos are going up today!
I would like to but I have to find them. I have them in sequential order on my hard drive, so first matches that will go up today are Bart vs. Hummer Rematch (since I have everything that is on the second camera that was not stolen) and onward…
Going to eat and then edit the video and upload it to youtube and then start doing what I can everyday from there on out!!!
Hummer also said yesterday last comments that he believes Kula can beat Tatsuya, he also says this in his interview!!
Thats whats up, Good Shit DG.
I’ll be checking your channel later on tonight for some of the Tourney Vids. Pumped as hell to see em.
Yea I am editing part one of Hummer vs. Bart right now then going to upload it. I will post it here as soon as it hits youtube!!!
I can’t wait to check em out!
Also, show some fine Mexican ladies. :razzy:
this X 1000
This is interesting, now when will the mexicans go to Japan to face the japanese players? Or China/Taiwan.
IMO Chinese/Taiwanese players are the best, in both 98 and 2k2. Just saying.
Well Hummer certainly got him “some” in the end…he returns to Japan with a happy smile on his face. He even got more than Bata!!! =)
I’ll look for it in the footage Hummer vs. Bart Part I is uploading to youtube now, if I find Hummer vs. Alexis I will upload it after the GGPO Challenge, I’ll put special request for it so people see it early.
This is the truth and finally people now can see that. SBO is just a centralized tournament in one region, there are many people out there like Kula, Zeus etc that can hang with the best in any region of the world, they just do not have the money or exposure, so that is my role in all of this, give them that exposure and give them the stage to perform…then they must perform!!!
Now of course in all this I get to play super high level players, so it benefits me either way! I also saw Hummer playing some KOFXI!!! He uses KGO and we were laughing about that being “Stereotypical Japanese team.” He also sees and believes Duo Lon Leader is top tier, he sees why Duo Lon Leader is very strong in Mexico, he is going to update on his blog and post a lot of what I am telling you guys now. Hummers birthday is tomorrow btw and from what I hear this was the best birthday present ever for him and he is looking forward to coming back next year!!!
Yes in the interview he mentioned different styles of play with Kim in Mexico and Japan. He says Japanese Kims just poke, do not use stomp cancel, and Taiwanese and Mexican Kim’s use stomp cancel, he thinks overall both Mexican and Japanese Kims are very similar in skill level.
Also he says Bart is very very strong and has a “Japanese Billy”.
And you wonder why I don’t care to deal with you on a personal level??? U sound bitter. As Laban says there is no time or place for that…
To address your question, I had staff…Lecter, Luis Cha, Jairo and myself, Lecter ran the tournament, I recorded, provided updates on SRK/Dreamcancel/Facebook, set up other matches, took care of Hummer, ran the North vs. South…had Luis Cha install sticks, all of that. Also I wasnt the only one doing updates, there were many computers in the tournament so people were all over cyberfanatix, facebook posting updates so the news spread like wildfire in regards to the updates, I posted stuff up when I could, all the other tournaments we’ve had, we’ve never had internet access, this was the first one where we had internet access, so the news spread quickly!!!
Also about the FR stream I didnt check it, I got notices in my email that told me I should check it because people were talking shit and that I needed to set the record straight with them. So I went into the FR thread and posted what I did then went on about my business. I know damn well those talking shit won’t man up to what they said, if they did then I will gladly fly out to Atlanta in a few weeks to put them in their place in KOF.
Plus if it has anything to do with me not being at Final Round, uh hello…I had THIS TOURNAMENT…Wasn’t gonna happen, if they don’t like that they can kiss my ass…
So to answer your question…YES.
I agree you don’t see me in here doing this do you?
We are planning all of that because only way to play Tatsuya is for us to go to Japan, so we are weighing our options right now when because:
-
Next is Mexico vs. Peru and all Latin America is looking forward to seeing Kula, Zeus, Luis Cha, Andres in Peru facing Buchecha, Salado, Javier, AngelStronG.
-
November is Battle 4 Mexico 2011 in the Juarez Convention Center where we anticipate over 1000 people including the AnimeCon people, and October is Duelling the KOF in Japan, Danke wants us to come, Hummer wants us to come, but that is very close to time and a lot of money being spent between two consecutive events so I have to think about that one. At Battle 4 Mexico 2011 we will be able to have a LIVE STREAM, AND WE ARE LOOKING AT BRINGING TOP JAPANESE PLAYERS TO MEXICO…
-
We have other events in the works…like Abraham wants to play American SF players because I think his skill with Cody in SSF4 is impressive!!! Torreon players and Khannibal want me to bring an American to Mexico for SSF4, BB, etc
-
We are planning A Super Super Tournament in Puebla in a few months with #1 KOF13 player in Japan CAP…
-
We are planning a Tijuana USA vs. Mexico 2011 tournament for KOF13 Kula and everyone else including No.17 vs. Mr. KOF etc…
All of this is something to take into account.
About Chinese and Taiwanese:
Hummer told me China is the best in 98 only, and in 2002 they do not play it. Hummer says Kula can beat Amuro or the like top player in Taiwan in 2002.
Hummer also says when he heard about Bata losing prior to anything else he believed that maybe Japan was better than Mexico in 2002, but now that he has played he believes Mexico can defeat Japan and Taiwan in 2002 and understands why Bata lost!
All of this is in the footage I am uploading to youtube with the tournament.
damn you guys got some nice tournaments going on man, im fucking jealous.
also i find it funny that people (usually americans) seem to think that only a certain regions can play games on the highest level. fighters are easily learned, anybody can become great at them if you have the skills for it. (with kof taking more skill than sf in terms of execution and reaction).
also it seems 98 isnt that popular in mexico, damn. and its my favorite kof too. cant stand 02 personally, but technically its still a great game concerning gameplay.
id like to see fighters strong enough to humble dakou or xiaohai or at least keep up with them (in 98). a chinese friend of mine here in the netherlands was talking about xiaohai and his skills years ago before he was even known (in japan or the US through sbo vids). talking bout some chinese kid beasting all other players in guangzhou (?) in kof. supposedly his fahter was something like his coach and dude would even get mad at xiaohai when somebody jumped on him and he didnt dp. dudes been raised kof, his dads hardcore.
First video is up and within 2 seconds it had 2 views lol.
GGPO Challenge: Hummer (Fukuoka, JPN) vs. Bart (D.F., MEX) Part I of many:

Hope you all enjoy and yes more coming do not worry!!!
-DG
Checking it out now.
Lol Oh Yea 1080p
As far as Dakou or Xiaohai, I am looking into still Kula, Bart, Caras, Andres vs. them and then people from Brazil and Argentina for KOF 98…there is still soooo much left to discover in the other games sans 2002!!!
Yep 1080p!!!
Also this is what I am going to do:
I am going to finish the GGPO Challenge, THEN I am going to:
Upload 2 special requests out of order:
- Hummer vs. Alexis KOF 2002
- Me vs. Kula in SvC Chaos.
I have gotten requests to see me vs. Kula in SvC Chaos on not only here, but Dreamcancel and cyberfanatix, and Kula has told me how he has had to explain himself to everyone in Mexico how he lost to me 10-0 and he told me today he told them he said I’m a monster, almost invincible in SvC Chaos.
Kula is going to be an employee of LDA Inc. (this also covers work visas btw!) so I will probably be going to Puebla, Mexico in 2-3 weeks to train him for work, and he says then since I beat him 10-0, beat Bart like 10-0/1, beat Andres 4-5 times 10-0/1, beat Daniel from Juarez 10-0/1, and everyone else in SvC Chaos even Lalo, he says there will be 15 people waiting to play me in Puebla, Mexico upon my arrival!!!
Exciting stuff!
please keep it civil… if you’re gonna argue at least let it be constructive. next time i’m handing out infractions.
