Also something I wanted to comment on because I’ve seen a few people comment on it such as but not limited to Syxx:
“Random supers.”
I never do random supers in anything period. Not with Eiji in 98UM, not with anyone, you see random super you again aren’t in my head nor do you know what I was thinking at the time. Show me a situation where you think the super is random and I will show you where it is a calculated move. Remember again in this matchup with Kula I am going based off the last time I played him, I studied those match videos so I paid attention to his tendencies and the things he did hence with some of those characters I did supers based off his tendencies. Just because a super misses does not mean it was random. It is like they say in sports in this scenario, if you do something right you’re a genius, but if it doesn’t work then they hammer you. In your mind you are doing the same thing playing like you would normally play reading your opponent and you do the response accordingly, but of course you are always gonna have people looking in hindsight on something (which I cannot stand) saying they can do something better in a given circumstance where I truly think MOST people would probably do something worse!!!
Hell I would do something different in a given circumstance because NOW I KNOW, but compare again these videos to Battle 4 Mexico and you can clearly see a difference as you are going to see another one in June/July in Puebla.
I never ever EVER do a random super, it is always a calculated move. You may not see it, but if you really want an explanation I will be more than happy to explain to you where it was NOT a random super. So again, if you truly honestly think something was random please show me in the video and I will be more than happy to have an educated discussion about it. But if you are just trying to take a stab, go somewhere else please more than likely you wouldn’t do any better, Kula is a very strong opponent in 98UM. He has the necessary tools to be very strong at the game:
High level experience/exposure to most/all of the cast, PATIENCE and very very good ability to read opponents.
Yes as I said in the video, I think Kula defeats Mr. KOF in 98UM. Regular Geese doesn’t really work on Kula, EX Geese does better, EX Yuri I see works, Eiji has to be played to the maximum patience, Krauser works on everyone, gotta test EX King next time.
There had to get that out there because I’ve grown weary of this type of hindsight 20/20 talk.

Again same thing here, I studied the matches from the last time we met and watched others (him vs. Kira, Kane9999) to study his tendencies, so again no random supers, everything is calculated based off what I saw him do in those matches. That’s how I am period. If I could play against him more often you would see me get resoundlngly better because it would be a rinse-repeat process every time we played, which would mean I would in turn get resoundingly better each time we played!
Also as you see, his Ryo and Duck King don’t really give me problems anymore, it’s really his Oswald!!! So what I am doing is working!!! I just gotta keep refining it, studying the match videos and getting stronger!

I dunno I will ask him though lol. Batou has some potential so he’s certainly someone I could be playing with in the future to train up in 2002 UM, 98UM, SvC Chaos etc! (and obviously this allows me to further test some ideas I have to prepare for future trips to Mexico vs. Kula etc)
