Personally I find Luise the Elf Queen of Rivendell / ESPGaluda Reject to be the most out - of - place character in the game. Then again Mignon is a witch, so anything goes in MI.
Hey, even of they don’t “fix” ground physics, parrying could make it a lot harder to score a knock-down. Making this game playable for TWO weeks instead of one.
Man are they actually going to add anyone to make this a worthwhile sequel or are they making MI 1.5?
Kula, Billy, Luise and Nagase are going to be the only new ones? How about someone from Garou? Or other KOF characters and not the SAME DAMN MAIN ONES!?
I’ll still end up buying it but it just doesn’t seem that great from the current roster shown so far.
So, I downloaded some of the vids…wow. They put parries in (as most of you guys know) which looks to be interesting, but from looking at the Alba v. Kyo vid, they still can juggle off the ground. :wtf: So, this game’s probably not gonna be much better than the first, unless the parries balance out things a hell of a lot.
G-g-g-g-g-gah. Yey. This game officially sucks now. Why does SNK think anyone would want to play this crap AGAIN?!?! I doubt parrying is really going to fix the problems of the first game.
I dunno. The thing that made Rock and Alba Top Teir in the last game were their counters. Out of all the characters, they were the least likely to get knocked down, and thus, die.
With parries, everyone will get a chance to avoid the knockdown. Unfortunanly, it looks like ground attacks have not been toned down. Which means knockdown=end match.
Pokes weren’t the big deal in KOFMI … Capcom games are in generel more about poking then KOF. However I also fear a Parry would make some top chars like Kyo or K’ and Alba untouchable with their extremly overpowered combos … But maybe MI2 will relay on a completly different system.
Man those new match vids at the official site are GREAT, just seeing them gives me hopes for this game.
More character stories are up & Terry’s a lazy bastard as ever.
But yeah, it’d be funnier if Terry just liked to start up shit on the internets in his spare time.
So unbeknownst to 99% of people, the internet term “trolling” comes not from monsters under a bridge but baiting stupid fish out on a long line.
