Long story short Duke gets his ass kicked and Alba Meira won the first tournament and is now in charge of Southtown. (this is Alba btw if your curious.)
Regarding MI2
I’ve seen Duke officially in MI2 he looks the same and you have four colors to choose from in regards to the outfits. A B C D and you have two outfits to choose from. Original and Another and The load screens are similar to Alpha Three for the PS2 where they show a characters face (CG) and small text scrolling down the side of the characters picture.It looks really nice so trust me you dont have to see that “NOW LOADING” screen with the circle around it anymore
I’m trying to figure out when and how Eolith changed Kula’s outfit for 2k1/2k2 when it’s been the exact same since her appearance in 2k. =/ Or maybe I’m blind and haven’t seen her changes since I don’t truly care about their outfits as long as it looks right on them(which the alt costume he made actually does, if you want to get technical).
It’s odd, everyone that I’ve met so far that loves Kula(or any SNK female) utterly hates any deviation from the norm.

Actually, I was referring to the intro outfit that occasionally showed up (more or less, similar to a santa suit of sorts…it was pretty bad). I’m all for change if it’s for the better, actually (hell, if I had my way, she’d have aged by now, but I can think of a number of other fanboys that aren’t me who would be displeased with 20-year-old Kula, sadly).

Clark’s new DM is anti-air BTW, in case you haven’t noticed yet. Plus I like how they changed Leona’s Gravity Storm.
I personally have nothing against new outfits/styles for the alternates of characters. It’s just bad when they suck, like…that Kula design for example. 
One the other hand, the Iori alternates are insanely cool in most games, and Kyo’s redesign in MI2 OWNS his KOFXI look.
But yeah, that haircut looks plain odd in real life, so I don’t really blame anyone for nearly puking at the sight of it. I hardly ever see anyone able to pull that off and look good/attractive.
Oh, and they totally need to get Hiroaki in this. Falcoon gets owned for free by any of the art in XI.

Looks like you can’t combo DPs against the wall now. Look at 00:39. Iori does a DP…then does another and it wiffs.
Either that, or the second DP ended exactly when the other Iori fell onto it.
Am I the only one that noticed that Iori now has a Double projectile?

God I hope not. We played this game for like a week until I found out I could just slaughter everyone with Mignon’s DP after knockdown. SO ANNOYING:sweat:. My bud still goes berserk whenever I say “Ancient God of Water Spirits” around him.
The parry system shows promise, but for everyone’s sake I hope they tone down ground attacks.
My other main wish for this game did not come true, from what I’ve seen in the vids. I hated how chained specials (i.e. Iori’s Lotus, Kyo’s Wicked Chew) moved so damned fast compared the 2-d versions. I always thought it just looked kinda goofy.
In either case, Playmore has been stepping up game quality lately, so I’m personally expecting great things from this game. Maybe even a little too much.:wonder:
Has anyone else noticed that SNK’s really been tweaking the characters for this game? Everyone has at least one new super and special, Iori’s rekka chain has a different / new ender, Leona’s Moon Slasher can be done twice in a row, Soiree has a sweet new body - surfing super (like Dante in DMC, riding enemies around). I for one am glad to see SNK experimenting with their characters, rather than just porting everything into 3D.

Alba has a triple fireball Also the last episode of the Anime comes out this friday but for me the most unexpected move I saw so far was definatly the Neo Raging Storm followed by Alba’s new SDM. But Nagase’s SDM Also looks pretty badass.
