I was able to find KOF maximum impact part 1 for a very low price.

Is it worth buying or would you suggest to just get MI2 instead?

I bought it for 5 bucks and I STILL feel ripped off. If you like KOF, don’t buy it.

Hmm can’t say, the best way I can put it is like this:
KoF MI 1=SFA 1
KoF MI 2=SFA 2

So it’s pretty much up to you, but I’d wait for MI2, still MI1 is a fun game.

Somehow it could be the truth … KOF has a very interesting thing gameplay wise …

KOF 96 --> 95 --> 94

KOF 2002 --> 2001 --> 2000

so maybe MI3 --> MI2 --> MI1, but who knows.^^:wink:

96 was the lowest point for KOF gameplay- even worse then the other games that get crapped on, like 2k1. One-move infinites (Iori Scum Gale over and over), no command normals, some really braindead chars (Leona, Mature)

The only thing 96 has going for it was the Boss Team

one more comment on voice acting… there is such thing as good voice acting and bad voice acting.

mgs = awesome voice acting
mi = shitty voice acting.

thats why you see Xplay commenting about how good or bad the voice acting is.

I went out, bought the game, burned it, and traded it in for a full refun.

OMFG I didn’t actually play it until now with a friend of mine. Man, the battle intro to Kyo vs Iroi had me going.

“What color are your flames?”
“Why do you want to know?”

“Grrrrr!!”

And man, Live House and that rooftop stage slow down on stupid shit. Also, whats with that green chic’s taunt. Sounds so stupid.
