You mean like Ralf and Chang?
no, not like ralf and chang? are you retarded?
But he has combos that matter, easy confirmables like (down B,B,A, super) or down B,A super or hp DP (which works at ANY range) mr big is not just a poke based character he can rush down or play conservative, you need to explore him a bit more
To add to this, Big also has one of the better anti air’s in the game. Also, he has a solid 50/50 game with meter because of easy ass confirms and FEEEVARRR!
I’m asking because the only reason he gave for Big being not that good is that he doesn’t have combos and is a poke character. Calm down that vagina, pal.
dude you know that big isnt a poke character ‘like ralf and chang’ rofl
No I don’t know. I haven’t had the chance to play the game and that’s why I ask.
wtf!!!
Big can poke, but mainly he needs to be in so he can work the cr. b, cr. a xx w/e or command throw/cmd throw DM game imo.
A dragon punch is too serious too.
yo i want to know where are the characters that i use on the tier list i use RB Andy Mature and Chris/Orochi Chris
and how serious is that little combo u say like what is the damage rate on that
Orochi Chris is tops…
i see i see i like that but y isnt Chris top i mean i seen that nigga in play so damn much
Here’s a rough test. Using Kyo’s close stand C as a gauge, most characters can take 14 stand Cs and will have a sliver of life left.
- Same goes for Billy.
- Same goes for Chang.
- Choi will not have any life left after 14 stand Cs, but will still be alive.
Conclusion- Billy, Chang and Choi take roughly the same damage. Choi has a very small disadvantage, but its like negligible (around 1/3 of a light attack’s damage).
As far as tiers go, IMO you have Iori and Krauser right on top, Ex Geese, Ex King, Orochi Yashiro, Kyo and Orochi Chris just a little below.
Everyone else comes a little below, but well within fighting range.
he got hurt bad by the damage reduction
hes still good hes just not up there anymore
Billy is NOT bottom tier then, I think he only took 12 or 13 beforehand. He is taking about 15% less damage then before. He took extra damage in regular 98- tested it out when Ghostpilot told me he was bottom. Since he also got some improved comboability and other minor buffs, he should be mid. Unsure if regular or EX is better though, probably EX now.
I’m thinking of switching Ex Mary into my main team now. It seems I can fight a lot more stuff with her than Ex Yuri to me.
That being said, I think she’s A class right? PMEscalation mode gives her lot’s of chances for damage for sure. I don’t think she can keep up with the S classes unless she gets in on em. Once she does it’s hell though.
Can someone post strats for Chris(which ever version is best), and Yashiro. Thanx. I cant decide on a team so many good characters lol i might have to use 2 teams or something.
I’ve been messing around with this game for only a week and it has already become one of my favorite games.
Iori is my favorite KOF character and he’s top tier, so he’ll be in my main team obviously. Second spot goes to EX King since she’s pretty interesting to use.
Third spot… idk, there’s a good number of characters in the game that are fun to use, I’ll have to mess around some more before chosing a main. Characters I’ve liked so far: Kyo, Saisyu, EX Mai, Mature, Terry/EX Terry.
I guess we’ll have to wait until after SBO to get a more definitive tier list, but all the characters above seem to have potential.
then do that, instead of just asking for the top tiers and tier-whoring. that’s such a cop-out.
shitttt…
you know, you could also check the KOF 98 wiki; lots of it still apply, or just go to orochinagi.com forums and look there.
stop being lazy.
oi could someone try this in training mode?
