That dont matter. Both UMs will have online play. Theres your human competition. I’m lucky that I live in a hood with a very active arcade that has every single KOF to date. My comp is Mexican killahs that play with no mercy. Even cross-handed theyre tearing mofos left and right.

98UM is so far slated for Live. I assume they would do the same for 2K2UM. Why wouldnt they?
Where did you hear that 98UM was coming to anything in the US but PS2 and Wii? I’m not saying you’re wrong, but I haven’t heard any news of a 360 port at all.
2k2 UM so far has been confirmed as PS2 only. There isn’t even a planned release for it in the Arcades…

This may just be a shot in the dark, but the silhouette(sp?) at the top left looks like Syo Kirishima. Kyo’s 2k another striker.
It has been awhile since I played 2k, but i certainly recall him having a short jacket and pants that close toward the bottom.
Man this is gonna be awesome. I definitely can’t wait to get this game.
The character called Nameless (really K9999) looks interesting, however cliche he maybe. I wonder if SNKP will balance the Nests bosses.

Lin’s qcf+Px3 and fwd+A was godlike in 2k1 and looked cooler, I hated his 2000 versions!

He is. 2k Lin was fucking awesomely BROKEN but very innovative and unique as a character.
Its true. Its really too bad poison spit didn’t actually poison the opponent for a sec… at least the fierce one, make it more useful. It’ll be cool to play him with the stab your hand through the ground moves.
I hope he has all of his supers - I was so sad to discover they took out the “teleport behind, then neck slash” super from 2K1, it was so awesome in 2K.
The only I don’t like is his qcf+P animations in 2000. It felt easier to combo and connect in 2k1 and had longer reach.
I remember his jump kicks were much different in 2K1 than 2000 and better.
Wow, people picked him in 2000, I remember when 2000 had high comp at the Arcade, nobody picked him, but when 2K1 came out everyone was picking him.
