Anyways, man I’m rusty, it’s been quite a while since I last played this on either my PS2 or the arcade.
Isn’t that because the XBLA port KOF2002UM is older than NGBC? I recall hearing that KOF2002UM was on partnernet since the start of this year or something?
I hope the patch that we can’t get (and thus are forced to play offline) puts in the NGBC (or better) netcode.

So I got it downloaded and its cool so far. Feels smoother than OG2002, or atleast vs the OG2002 on ggpo. Dreamcancel doesn’t have too many wikis up, and theres only a wiki for OG2002. Do a lot of the combo’s transfer over from OG?

a lot of them do, you get a lot more super cancel options in max mode in UM, in general you’ve got a lot more flexibility in max mode.
Cool. Is there a general systems guide anywhere or engine pretty much the same as OG?
This is my first Kof game, I’ll download the game later. Where are some sites where I can read character guides? I plan to use Iori, Terry, Kula and some other girl I can’t remember clearly. 
I think it was Li Xiangfei.
Some of the stuff there isn’t updated. I guess people will update it the future.
Was I the only one that suddenly got worried about the netcode after this reminder? I mean, if this was done before SNK’s netcode was decent…I really hope I’m worrying about nothing.
The only universal system changes are
- SDM’s can be done outside of BC mode, this includes super canceling
- HDSM’s can also be done outside of BC mode
besides that everything else system wise is the same
How do I get achievements for this game?
I want to get most before the release date so I can feel superior.

This game also has a surprisingly good training mode. The record function in this game should be a staple in all fg training modes.
actually, there’s a lot more system changes than that. i’m gonna try and see if i can find a backup of my old blog that had a list of them all (and my opinions on them).
