Anyway, I haven’t played UM much, so I don’t know what buffs nerfs Shermie/Orochi Shermie received. All I know is that in OG, regular Shermie (who I main) wasn’t even all that great and Orochi was even worse. Hence my surprise that the O version is now better.

Damn you guys are late. Kasumi, k’ , king have been top tier since day one. Kasumi is the best IMO then king and K’ last for S tier
some jap players think Kula is high/low S tier because she can do big damage really easy. lol thats every ver of Kula.

KK, please tell me that she got cancelable fakeout on her qcb+K (like NGBC) and her SDM does more damage than her DM Shermie Carnival (actually did LESS for some reason in OG).

If so, that list looks pretty solid to me, except EX Takuma should be way higher, and I don’t understand what makes EX Robert so good.
Andy is probably the most underused character in the game, he’s pretty solid. If he had a good DM he’d definitely be tops.

Regular Shermie got essentially nothing in UM except a much improved HSDM.
O. Shermie got TONS of improvements.

Her f+B command only does one hit now and because of that it comes out about 9-10 frames faster, free cancel-able if canceled into, combos into her hcf+P command throw and “Shermie Flash” DM/SDM easily

Her old ABC KOF 98 evade move got an add on, it’s an additional attack that can be done with any button and it’s super cancel-able on hit

Her cr. C comes out a frame faster

Baku New Suplex “f+A” comes out a few frames slower, and it isn’t free cancel-able on block anymore

Her HDSM “Inazuma Leg Lariat” got a face lift so it looks more dynamic now, it also does 45% damage instead of 30

This isn’t really a change but she still has her st.CD trick where she’ll switches sides if you use it near a downed opponent

That’s not too bad, I’m really glad about the change to her f+B command move, because of its previous properties in OG uses were more limited. And yeah Shermie Flash being worth it now I’m glad. Cancelable qcb+K as I discovered leads to some good mindgames so it would have been nice, but I can deal. I’ll just keep playing NGBC…
I’ll still play Regular over Orochi but I may give O verison another try to see what’s up.

I can give you a quick run down for O. Sherm
- f+B does one hit just like OG Sherm, free cancel-able now
- f+A is a her new command move, it’s an overhead, free cancel-able in canceled into, her air qcf+B and her qcfx2+K/BD DM combo into it
- Her qcfx2+K DM got an upgrade, it can be done in the air now
- qcb+K is super cancel-able now
- Her HSDM got an easier input now, hcbx2+any the face buttons, the start-up is also unblock-able
- She has a new attack (dp+P) where lightening strikes her from the air, pressing A/C prolongs the attack, the range sucks but if you hit someone with it it does so much hit-stun that you can follow up with any DM/SDM off your choice except for qcfx2+D because the start-up takes too long
