and that’s pretty much it outside of the corner.
Just to clarify about this, I don’t think the glitch applies here. But the glitch he’s talking about makes vertical jump normals come out as if they were horizontal normals…a character’s vertical jump attack hitboxes are not the same as horizontal ones, but you can make a horizontal jump attack come out on a vertical jump by doing a hop before it.
This is generally a nuisance more than a feature, there’s a lot of nice setups that don’t work out because of this (for instance, Leona horizontal jump D, then instant overhead vertical jump D into v slasher).
About the tougeki version of kof 2002 UM: I never had the original Kof UM, and I heared the boss team is missing from the arcade version of UM. So are the bosses in the new tougeki ps2 version of 2k2UM? I just want a complete game, I dont really care about arcade bugfixes or something cuz im a casual fighter fan. I just want the most complete version with all the music/backgrounds/characters etc. Should I pick up this new version or go buy the more expensive and harder to find (from webshops) original 2k2 version? I never realised the 2k2 UM was so good compared to the original 2k2 which I already have for ps2 and the roms.
Alright thanks, my friend wants to learn some characters so I was trying to give a run down of some of them. I was considering a normal into f+B into DP but I was using the C version which didn’t work out that great if you’ve seen it hahaha.

All characters, including “boss team”, are still playable… but they must be unlocked.
The Tougeki version is “visually” the same game than 2k2um.

I just want to say I am HIGHLY dissapointed in Tougeki version 2002 UM, unless you have not gotten the original 2002 UM I would NOT recommend getting it. Yes as the person said, even the damn disc is the same as the original besides the Japanese Kanji for Tougeki, the interface is the same, you don’t have the blue background like the arcade, you gotta unlock everything from scratch like 2002 UM, and yes the bosses are there meaning it kinda makes it difficult to determine what we should allow in tournaments (Geese etc) because I THOUGHT this game would do it for us but it doesn’t, it is like CVS Pro for 2002 UM not even that, not enough substantial changes to warrant even getting it really, I am highly highly dissapointed in this.
I still have not received the Game of Death footage yet from Mexico City when I do receive it believe me I will let you all know, but as of now I am working on the new titled All Versus 2010 (Formally known as Mexico vs. Panama), and Hummer has his passport and is still 100% confirmed (Even bought his ticket to Tokyo from where he is in Japan already) for the tournament, Kula is a possibility to come as well as he is invited to come to the tournament.

Yeah, I’m disappointed with Tougeki myself…the only thing I find different is the year “2010” in the intro. ha.
I’ve noticed the AI is a tad bit smarter but that’s about it.
