The King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match Thread

The tournament is happening, the stream isn’t…the tournament is going now, basically the stream guy took too long and we were waiting on him for 5+ hours so we said enough, the tournament is happening without him, Luis Cha is recording the premier matches now and of course everytime Danke plays etc, and I will get the footage and upload it once I have it in my possession.

Like JuareZ WarZone if there is time there will be a Tournament of Champions…

Danke has lost to Bart, Andres, Luis Cha, Esteban (D.F.),( this has been recorded by Luis Cha and I will get it and upload it when it is in my possession) Rafa and others in Mexico City that have played 2002 since the beginning in matches before the tournament, and he has his Sanwa and buttons installed how he likes it so there are once again NO excuses.

Consensus is that Danke may be fortunate to survive to the 2nd round of the tournament, Abraham is not there but the people from Puebla like KULA are at the tournament I have heard…so it will be a fierce tournament. I will update with the results of the tournament.

So cool to hear that Kula made it. Can’t wait to see how he plays and how good he really is. BTW, do you know what the turnout has been? hopefully it is a good number of players.

32 players I have heard as of right now.

Even if there were reasons to give excuses, it wouldn’t matter because he doesn’t even represent the japanese kof scene in the slightest. The fact that you are even talking about excuses now shows that you don’t even understand the reason excuses were given for Bata, and it also shows that you are trying to use Danke to attempt to prove some kind of point about Japanese gameplay. It’s even more obvious that you’re doing that because you jumped on the opportunity immediately when Danke himself was only asking if you knew some Mexican arcades with good players. That’s all he asked.

Oh Emil.

Just heard the news, Danke has already lost/been eliminated in the KOF 2002 tournament apparently Bart (#2 in Mexico) eliminated him I will make sure I get specifics…

Anyone know the list of changes for the Tougeki edition?

This doesn’t prove anything.

It may or may not, we are just happy Danke came to the tournament. Since Hummer is #20 maybe that will prove something and that is only in two months…

If anything this proves that some random Asian player can’t go to Mexico and win for free, which has been a belief for many many years amongst Asian fanboys etc, please cut the crap and respect these Latin American players.

I still say for now Mexico 2, Japan 0.

Next chapter of this saga is in 2 months at Mexico vs. Panama.

At least give the Mexican players credit is all I’m saying and pretty please do not make ANY and I do mean ANY excuses whatsoever, they are all invalid at this point. It is just another way to keep the Latin America vs. Asia thing going, I wanna build a healthy competitive rivalry that will last for years to come.

Tougeki version has removed Hinako’s infinite and Goro’s BC bug + added some new stages.

-DG

Pfft, if you count those as wins for mexico, then you have to count all of Japan’s GGPO wins (which would be equally invalid). Japan wins.

The dp+A, qcb+b cancels into HSDM shit?

For the record, who really takes playing GGPO seriously? Offline is where you get your credit and the groupies waiting…

Yep that shit man, the stuff with Goro they are taking out, and yeah who takes online seriously? No one, if you do you don’t get out much, I pride myself on taking “Theory Fighter” and making it reality, I do not care about hypothetical crap, what matters is what happens in reality, online is just a training ground at best that’s all it is, you earn your stripes in the battlefield in war, that’s where you earn stuff, so I don’t care if you are the hottest thing since sliced bread online, IT DOESN’T MATTER OFFLINE.

The end.

In b4 Emil defending online play against DG for like the millionth time.:coffee:

Is there a complete lists of changes to the Tougeki version?

Not yet but when I get it I will post it in here…is that cool?

Thats fine. Thanks in advance.

thanks this may be my last post here but i will be watching this web site for more update on KOF

 at anyone who thinks that Japan is better than Mexico in KOF2002

Emil’s right guys. Apparently, Danke isn’t Japanese enough for Emil. No offense Emil, but I’ve seen some of your youtube crap and it’s unreliable.

I mean, I’m a Blazblue player and I saw a HORRENDOUS match where a Japanese player threw out Ice Car with Jin (The same one nonetheless which is MORE PUNISHABLE) 5 times… IN A ROW. If you’re gonna get Japanese players, at least know the game cause one of your ugly responses was “You’ll never beat these guys in 100+ matches.” You think the Japanese are good at Blazblue? Cool. But to just pick some random pieces of shit who blatantly suck at the game? Not cool, especially if you know nothing about the game. From that point on, let me state my piece of mind.

You have stated multiple times that Japanese KOF players are superior to Mexican players. Is Danke a Japanese KOF player? Yes. Was he superior to the Mexicans? No. Now to be fair, this is insufficient evidence due to the fact that we know nothing about Danke being good. But the of this was not to say whether Mexico is good or not, it’s to prove, guess what Emil? Japan doesn’t get the game handed to them. Know what the difference between you, me and Japan is? They live in Japan. They’re human beings, I’m not sure if you realize that but they gain experience through helping and fighting each other.

Yomi isn’t some kind of mind compelling experience that goes beyond humans, they’re just more experienced at some things than we are because they work hard at it. Any human on the Earth can work as hard as Japan too, even Mexico. Most people just decide NOT to work hard for some stupid reason.

By the way, about Tougeki. How does Tougeki prove anything about KOF games? Street Fighter, maybe, but KOF? Come on man, they put in one (If we’re LUCKY more) KOF game each year and if we’re even MORE lucky, the same one twice a year when it’s brand spanking new. How the heck are you gonna tell the top level from THAT? Street Fighter is an exception to the rule because it gets a LOT more of the same game for each SBO due to it’s popularity.

Also, how does it make sense that the battles are only the best of the best because of preliminaries to decide who gets in? So you’re saying that if the best of the best showed up at other tournaments, it wouldn’t even matter? They’re all still at both tournaments and the preliminaries is just to shorten up the scene so it’s not made a big deal and you can only see the “best matches” and such so there’s no riff raff in between. Nothing really changes besides that. The top players still make it to the top in other tournaments, then that’s it.

Just think about what I’ve said and at least present a good counterargument.

who is danke

i dont kno
