this is true, if rog faddakle ultras through the button down tiger shot the button up tiger shot will still come out (very common tactic)
U re totally missing the purpose of this vid, this is an option select that does another ts if boxer blocks or focus but ultra if boxer tries to go through the ts .
what if he jumps? will ultra still hit? seems very risky.
I will go try it in training mode soon. most of your option selects are very good but this one seems questionable…

In theory u have to do the option select at a distance where the ts is too close to be avoided by a jump.If he jumps u dont need to do the option select since u can easily see he did (u can substitute the ultra by any normal or special , i usually do st hk option select in match), but if he does turnaround punch its free .
exactly, if balrog focuses through the first ts into an ultra, you will throw another ts

actually i think the screen freeze from rog’s ultra will prevent sagat from doing this so you will get to block just fine :tup:
hmm, wouldnt sagat recover from the first ts before balrogs ultra comes out? i would think the window between rog’s focus dash and the ultra would be long enough for sagat to recover and throw that second button up ts
