Does his Mist Step have any overheads or moves that end in advantage or some sort of feint for continuing pressure?

I will be playing Kazuya/Jin in SFxT as I practiced so much with them in T6, I have some godlike wavedashing skills now with the Mishima’s can’t wait to try them out.

Corner only 428 damage: Cr. Strong Cr. Fierce Mist Step Rising Uppercut Cr. Fierce Rising Uppercut Cr Fierce Devastator.
mid screen 428 damage: Cr. Stribg Cr. Fierce Mist Step Rising Uppercut St. Fierce Ex. Slaughter Hook Cr Fierce Devastator.
I’m sure there are better ones out there but that’s what I’ve managed for today.

in most videos i see his crossrush lead-ins (not including the launcher portion) lead to some devastating mix ups with his (whatsiscalled DF +1,2 wallbounce move) which leads to others… I do not see the use of a 112 or a B+241…
I Also Noticed Kaz and Hei share the same Jumping Forward and Roundhouse… But Hei has both as crossups, I know Kaz’s jumping forward is a crossup but is it the same case for his jumping roundhouse? like Hei’s?
He eats fireballs and I think tatsus (not so sure, but mist step is invulnerable to highs and mids) for breakfast and can uppercut into combo for 400+. That’s all i know for now. 112 is good for keeping people in check since it knocks down. and B+241 is good for feinting a low, say most people look at legs for lows and all of a sudden it’s a punch instead. It’s kind of confusing. His 314 chain can lead into a cross rush/ex cancelled move of your choice (best choic is qcb Jab+Strong) which ground bounces.
How the hell do you do Mist Step on P1 side quickly
I can wavedash on P2 side, but P1 side it almost never comes out when I don’t do it slowly

i’ve noticed that today wen i was trying to combo st.lp, st.lp cr.hp xx slaughter hook does NOT work unless slaughter hook is EX. can any confirm or is my execution off?
Try tapping forward and the doing a half circle forward. It works for me.
You’re chaining the normals. Chains are not special cancelable. They can only be cancelled by EX specials and supers.
Hmm The 112 while knocks down has little damage, It would be more practical to simply continue a connected Jab into a crossrush.
BTW is his jumping Roundhouse also an Overhead? since he and Heihachi share the same jumping Forward and Roundhouse animations and Hei’s versions are BOTH crossups…
Huh? Ok for the record Kaz was hands down number one in the arcade release of T6. He got nerfed in the rebalance.

his lightning is purple and bigger as opposed to his regular blue lightning uppercut when u do the ewgf

Got the game Friday. Here are a couple of misc. notes…
Facing right:
Slaughter Hook: Causes a ground bounce
Saughter Hook High KIck: Performs a long-ish two hit combo, keeps the opponent grounded, great for starting extended tag combos.
Devastator: just a strong ender in the corner.
Ex version seem to have mid and low invulnerability. Confirmed.
Other posters have said the EXGF IS in the game. Credits to Justus and Half-Ro for mentioning it, Credits to Dukefleed and Huber for finding damage properties. A+
I have to test out the properities.
Mist Step is invulnerable high & mid. The WGF have -1 frame of recovery on block. It can be super grabbed on reversal from blocking enemy. Kazuya is pushed to far back. Confirmed.
EX WGF changes the hieght and distance of the launch. Enemys will fly higher in the air, but close you Kazuya. It allow of longer combos. On block he is pushed father away, can not be super grabbed. Confirmed
EX Demon kick is invunerable low. Test agasint Sims’s far cr. HP. Hit him clean out. Confirmed
Demon Punch (236+p): Have one hit of armor high. Crumples on counter hit. As the hand closest to the enemy make a “Wax off” motion, he gets a parry. Can use it as an AA, if opposing player jumps in with a heavy attack. The attack get blocked and they get hit.Confirmed.
EX Demon gets a full body parry. The window is very small. Confirmed.
His super art seems to be the to be one of strongest non throw supers in the game @ 330 damage. Confirmed.
Rising Sun doesn’t seem that great. There are many other stronger combo options. EX version, keep enemy ground for a bit. Allows for extended combos.
Chains that hit low blocking oppents:
mp. lp, mk, lk (hits mid)
4+lk, lp, mk, lp (htis mid)
Chain that can be canceled:
lk,lp,mk (cancelable), this chain is real nice to keep pressure on. Cancel into EWGF to keep the rush down, or devil kick > devil kick/ devil punch for another mid/ low mix up.
Best mid screen non-tag non-ex air juggle combo:
whatever into> slaughter hook> CR. MP> CR. FP > lp DP move (dont remember the name) > mid kick. Confirmed.

Hmm not much love for Kaz… seeing Jin has several pages and Kaz barely gets two…
what’s the differences between the WGF and EWGF here? in Tekken it pushes the opponent farther if blocked.
i might be tripping but i swear i saw purple lightning when i hit certain EWGFs…more testing is needed…
the lightning didnt appear until i landed without, whiffs doesnt show a difference
people mash and jump in on me all day and kazuya’s aa (cr.hp) isnt all that great, so right now i feel that he has some HUGE defensive issues
