Isn’t it three bars? Ex DK, Tag, Ex Charge. Yeah, its not bad for a raw tag punish, but it costs all of your meter, so, you can probably find more damage depending on who your partner is. Some supers are not as good as others. Infact ex DK with a juggle Into juris ultra would probably do more.

Let’s be honest, does Juri really need a wall bounce move of easy combo ability? She has a enough stuff. So her EX stuff aren’t that strong, not the worst thing in the world. Means she uses less meter. I’m glad they aren’t amazing for that very reason. Besides, I’d rather guess wrong off a single hit dive kick 100 times than guess wrong on one EX dive kick and pay the awful price. Can do plenty of damage off a tag in that comes from a dive kick.

I’ve been using Chun + Juri exclusively again. Finally found a nice flow with them.

So, I apologize ahead of time if this was mentioned in this thread or in other threads (I’m really too lazy to read everything in the forum right now), but Heihachi’s counter is not projectile immune. Juri’s fireball charge is considered a projectile, so you can use that to knock Heihachi our of his counter. I plan to use it against Heihachi who love doing wake-up counter, then I can do fireball charge, super

I’m irked at that stealth nerf for her MK pinwheel, but to be fair, I seldom used it anyway. I don’t remember the exact damage I got from it, but I often just used HK pinwheel into a tag cancel to Kaz to get around 400+ and more corner carry. If anything, I feel Kaz’s restand being taken away will be more of a nerf to my Juri than her actual nerfs. I loved using that restand to start double dive kick (as it was much easier to start than using MP Slaughter hook).

This a list with some of the frame traps/counter-hit setups that Juri has. I know that frame traps aren’t that “important” in this game, compared to SSF4, but no harm done in knowing some of them.
Alright, it might not be an easy list to read and understand, so I’m goin to explain how to read it.
After the * its the normal you’re goin to use for the frame trap, in ( ) it’ll show the adv on block of the normal, then -> its the normal which you’ll use for the Counter-Hit - in this game when you net a Counter-Hit, that move will get +2 frames on hit, thanks to Fatboy for the info - once again the ( ) contain the move properties: Start up/Adv Hit/Adv Bock and in [ ] are the frames that the said move gets when its a counter-hit. In the case of the LK Fuhajin Release I list only the Adv Hit/Adv Block.
Bellow the said normal for the counter-hit are the followups. In the 1st frame trap and when you use s.LK to Counter-Hit followed by c.HP its possible to combo a MK Fuhajin Release, but only if the oponent is Standing So due to that I only listed the followups that you can land in every situation.

After playing several matches against a Hwoarang player last night. I have reseason to believe he has an unblockable switch cancel setup.
The guy I played would do a typical combo swtich cancel if I blocked his attack but he would time a cross up jump with his partner just right
that it would hit me because I had to block Hwoarang’s move low or high depending on the move he did otherwise I’d be hit by it. But I always got hit by his partner. Any one else run into this? He used Ken and Heihachi as his partners.
I use Hworang and Juri. It’s not unblockable but it might as well be if the Hworang player knows what he is doing.
Yeah I’ve fallen victim to that trick a few times… I have no idea how to block that shit lol.

There are no unblockables in this game. However, there are ambiguous set ups and mix ups off of his HK Hunting Hawk. Because the last hit is an overhead and there are also frames between each hit that take you out of block stun, where an attack can be squeezed in, it makes things very tricky.
The first two hits of Hwoarang’s HK.Hunting Hawk are auto-blocked and can be blocked low and high, the third hit is not auto-blocked and has to be blocked high. So people who know the timing will adjust the timing of their jump-over to force a guess block – which if you lose, will cause a ground bounce~

I saw Mike talk about meeting 5 Juri’s in a row on his Twitter. He didn’t seem too happy about it. He’s considering dropping one of his grapplers now.
Keep away Raven is hella annoying too.
CEO was awesome to watch on stream. Wish I coulda been there. As a side note, WeirdoNeo and Wolfkrone had a FT10 money match in the salty suite during the first night I believe.
