i just dont understand why its ok to use 3 meter for nearly 100% combo, where the only thing that takes any effort, is landing the super with your back against the wall. (Hakiru showed me some other ways to do it too)

yet jotaro isnt allowed to do 2 tandems in a combo unless its a stand crush?

i dont quite understand this.

there are some silly infinites in this game, not counting tandem x N.
but afaik jojo is the only game in japan that had an open (and very heated) debate about rules, combos, infinites etc.

and it seems like most of the time (not always) people play by the rules. thats what i learned from chatting with dio in akiba and my own experience.

But after watching a shit load of mikado matches and what not, i noticed no one ever did more than one tandem in a single combo. And after thinking about it all today while i’ve been out, i think that’s a pretty fair rule and keeps the game fun/interesting. Because it would not only be about being able to hit a tandem, but hitting a tandem and trying to combo as much as you can after it was over. This is where true skill lies, and perhaps after considering it should start being part of tourney rules. I kinda feel bad now about anytimes i might have gotten double tandem/triple tandem combos on anyone (as rare as that is). I dunno, that’s what i’m thinking now (it’s not like it’s hard to go into another tandem), and hopefully others share my view. It’d be way too cheap if you could just tandem your opponent to death. I know this is not always the case online (i’ve been trying to do that until i learned about the tandem etiquette), but if this was offline there would be a real issue (offline tandem combos are too easy to keep going).

im just wondering what the difference is between the hang man super combos (someone told me you can do as many as you have super? is that true?), and tandem type infinites?

edit: totally would go for a hd remix =D

You’ll want to kill me for this but I think the game needed another revision to fix some tandem dumbness. Starting with that one tandem per combo limit, that could’ve been easily coded in the game instead of people needing to make etiquette rules. Then adding some cap to how many moves the Stand can record, if it already has one then just lower that like hell. And finally making them not so easier to throw out than supers (or improve the supers of some characters), that bit made them SFA2’s custom combos all over again.

But then again, currently I’m only on the receiving end of tandems and may be biased. :wgrin:

to be real the game is hard as fuck to learn. it take hours or even months to master some of the combos.if they was easy more players. would jump on this game.that’s separating the players and the scrubs
