I’m trying so hard to do these goddamn combos but goddamn is this game hard. I’m going to totally remove GGPO and reinstall it, because I NEED help.
All my JJBA knowledge is within my head. Of course 90% of it comes from the japanese matches. It’s the only thing closest to game information out there.

I’m still half-tempted to go ahead and do what I was going to anyways, but I’m just trying to decide if that’s sensible…and if people would actually use it. When people ask for info/resources, I traditionally point to two places: Hardedge and SRK’s wiki, but the SRK wiki part is a little half-hearted.
If anyone thinks it’d be reasonable for me to do (rather than just fracturing the few JJBA resources that DO exist) please continue to let me know. It’s tempting as a fun little project…

Yeah, I know a good deal, but there are a lot of people who could benefit from the wiki still being up. I guess I’ll stop playing RE DC for a little bit. I need to practice my SFIV game a little bit before Friday cuz of this gathering, anyways. 
Looking at the thread, there wasn’t a guarantee that it’s coming back. Nor was there a post by Mr. Wiz himself. I’m a tad bit scared ="(
I still say it’s totally worth it. I get a feeling that if a new player was trying to learn that wasn’t on SRK already, it would be hard for them to find any info in english.
So, my GGPO isn’t working at all, even after completely reinstalling it.
2DF seems to be working though. I’ll try to be on most of tonight.
In what way is it failing? Maybe people here can help you. Also, do you control the settings for your network and router, or are you on a a college network or similar?
I’m willing to play on 2DF, I just don’t idle there. Roadapple plays there a lot though. Geezer is there sometimes too, I think.
Yesterday I went to Best buy to get a controller, but I was stuck between an XBOX controller and a Street Fighter XBOX pad. What kind of controllers would you recommend for JJBA?
I personally never liked the xbox controller for fighting games. Mainly because of the d-pad, it always felt kinda stiff with me when I input my commands. I heard the steet fighter pad was kinda nice but, I have never tried it. If that pad felt as good as the saturn pad then I’ll go with it but, go with whatever feels comfortable to you.
Jojo’s is a game that is made for a stick. Most games you play, you can get away with using a pad…guilty gear, ST, hell even KOF. But there are a few games that you can’t possibly play at your peak without a stick…JOJO’s, SFIV (i’m a viper player, so this is opinionated in my own playstyle/character preference), Blazblue (same excuse as SFIV, except i play Bang), and Marvel (nuff said). I mean, you can get away with pad for a good lil bit learning jojo’s, but there are some things you just will not be able to do on pad. I dare you to try Dio BnB’s on pad, you’ll pull chest hairs, i guarantee it.
I play on ps1 pad XD.
However, I do agree that somethings are just made for stick. 1frame links dont bother me, its the hold button while doing something else stuff that gives me problems.
A, B, C during tandems is the pad killer for me, not practical at all. Rest I can do fine I guess.
I can play a pad Joseph and Y.Joseph. Everyone else I need to use a stick.
