Nothing worth going into detail over at the moment I guess though I did end up losing my job.

Sorry to hear that.

It is what it is. Besides, I’d like to try going back to community college if I can, plus me having that job was causing more problems than they were worth both mentally and just practically.

Chipotle sucks.

I ended up not getting the job at Chipotle’s…a few days after that i get a call from a temp agency telling me to come in for a interview for the dietary aide position at a hospital.I go in there dude hires me on the spot…A day goes by I get a call from the temp agency telling me the hospital is overstaffed.like wtf!!!Just came back from a interview at a college campus for dishwasher…hopefully this comes thru, cuz i’ve applied at every warehouse every food store there is…any tips will be helpful, and no i don’t want to hear the usual “go back to school” thing…

So I called up my job agency the other day and just got into their case…long story short they called me back a day later with a temp job at Yankee Candle Warehouse.I start next wednesday…the thread lives on…and so do those godlike checks:

yeah. I remember that kinda shit. Sounds like losing that job was a gain in the end. Hope things start looking up soon for you.

Just because you’re handicapped at Disneyland doesn’t mean you’re entitled to bypass lines. It pisses me off how much fucking abuse there is when it comes to disability passes.

Disability is abused in general, which sucks for those who actually need the privilege.

I forgot to mention that we recently got a new director ant my job. He’s african…let’s see how this turns out. SMH!!!

Unless you’re a few minutes away from dying, you are not disabled you are just a little different. Wait in line like the rest of us.

Dave 2.0 re-incarnated…

if you can’t walk on your own or you’re really old (and probably shouldn’t be driving) then a disabled pass is allowed

No.

Yo Doc and anyone else who used to work in McDonalds: looking back, how often would you say you receive prank calls? Like these ones

Good luck on dat new gig Doc!

I’m going to add a wee bit more to my disability comment. Over the weekend, Justin Beiber was at Disneyland in a wheelchair and was taken down towards the inside of the building via backstage to avoid stupid screaming fangirls. This damn kid is seriously lacking common sense for the fact is his fans find him just opening the door with security blocking the girls. How do they find him? His damn dumbass keep tweeting where he is! Anyway they repel the girls and he’s now waiting inside for his turn as he complains why he cannot go immediately. Policy is there’s only one handicapped ride vehicle we use that is parked off the the side that allows handicap to board easier without having to rush into the normal rocket under our semi fast dispatch interval of 21.1 (at it’s fastest) seconds

while he wait everyone finds out he’s in there and the line goes apeshit. Both with fansgirls and haters. As he waits he pops wheelies and just dicks around making it very hard to work since he’s distracting people with his antics. He at some point runs over fully the foot of one of our workers who just came back from medical leave for her foot and now she’s experiencing extreme pain. All he does is glare at her and says “stay out of my way!” then goe back to being his fucking idiot self. The accessible rocket returns and wastes no time barging in to ride. Not caring at all about the family that just got off. He now demands he wants to go multiple times but doing so will delay our handicap line further. I rotated to take my break at this point so I didn’t see if he went again or not but thankfully he was gone after I got back. I was positioned at the exit handling the handicap line and what timing! I get all the people back there complaining that the line didn’t move at all.

Without having to explain who was down there, I did the best I could in trying to explain why the handicap line takes so long but the woman in front just says “this line could go faster if you guys would let those that actually ARE disabled go one before the fakers! Look at the ones in line without anything!” The family behind her had no physical disability but turns out their son is the one who has a mobility issue as he has one leg as a prosthetic so he moved slowly. that comment nearly caused a fight. Before shit got real I managed to handle things with everyone. By explaining our celebrity VIP situation, they somewhat understood as I also added that per law We’re never allowed to demand proof of disability so we have to take their word for it to a degree.

I just ended with a general announcement: “Anyone who discriminates against a disability or makes any negative comments about others here I will kick you out of line and make sure you do not ride at all!” The exit area was silent for a moment before they all went back to their personal conversations. I don’t know if I got to any of them but if it’s one thing I hate is people feeling entitled to anything when they clearly didn’t deserve it.

ok enough ranting and story telling for now…I need to pass out and build up my next new hatred…Disney Social Clubs…Something that exploded with popularity over the past year…

They’re not handicaped, they’re handi-capable…OF BEING EXPLOITED!!!

I saw something about this on a japanese site. :wtf: When your bike gang is mickey mouse and/or donald duck road warriors, you’ve been at disney world TOO LONG.

Never answered a single phone call at McDs. Too busy smuggling fresh nuggets.
