Yo I swear my job has the least entertaining shit to talk about. Doc be making everyday in fast food sound like an adventure and shit, have a nigga very envious.
The majority of jobs are the same but also different. Like my job is pretty quiet but I was told that shit goes on but on a more personal level since people don’t want their business put out there like that. But jobs like fast food, they just don’t care. Everything gets put out there. LOL!!!
You haven’t been working those kind of jobs long enough if you can’t work out what kind of person buys a drink that sweet.
I took my proctored post office exam today, scored an 82 with minimal study (wasn’t about to drop $99 for the study guide). I got tripped up on the coding from memory a little bit, but the other sections were a breeze. Hopefully it’s good enough to get a callback, can’t be that bad for my first try…

If it were me, I’d be trying to earn as much as I can. If that means keeping the job at McDonald’s, so be it.
The older I get, I understand that some of us need extra money in life. It’s nothing wrong with getting extra money (as long as it’s legal) but don’t work a job where your heart isn’t in it or you don’t like the place. Doc, if you like working at McD’s then by all means, keep the job.
The first lesson that they give security guards from what I heard is “DONT TRY TO BE THE POLICE!” your job is to report shit not apprehend

While I’m waiting to hear back from the post office (probably won’t), I’m working security at a soap-making plant. Basically I get to wheel around in a golf cart a few times a day checking the gates for possible security breaches, then helping out with checking contractors in/out at front desk and the shipping entrances.
Nothing too difficult, except for the gate that handles international deliveries- you fuck up there, and basically the plant shuts down, the security company loses its contract with the corporation, and a lot of people lose their jobs. I think I’m good on that gate for now.
