On topic, after watching the stream for a little while, I noticed that Haggar seems to be really easy to combo with compared to other characters, which is goo considering how much damage those combos do. Also, I saw some simple combos into Machine Gun punch. Seems like an OTG easily leads into it.
it looks like his hammer fist move is a pretty decent way to get in…i really wish we saw the dash grab though.

Haggar has canonically beaten Zangief so it’s all good. Death Battle is constantly full of some ol’ bullshit.
Well they did supply pretty reasonable arguments.

i bet they went off the assumption that zangief has more moves so he must be a better fighter…
They reasoned that Zangief is 13 years younger and trains more (since Haggar is mayor he has less time to train)
But that’s not important.
I’m wondering when the front page will be updated. I’m sure not much Haggar info has been released so far, but there has to be a little more than that.
Also, do you think his Larait Assisst (If he has one) would be a good AAA for shorter characters? If it takes health I’m guessin it’d be a pretty great move.
If Lariat is truly invincible then it will be great AA for everyone IMHO. It should also be a great lockdown assist like Chun Legs.
For the life loss I wonder if they’ll make it 100% invincible i.e. unhittable. It should at least be so until it finishes, but I wonder if they’ll just make him completely invulnerable.
Random speculation makes me think it’ll be like the Hulk’s AAA.
Unhittable during active frames but it’s possible to knock him out of it during the start up.
Hopefully not because that wouldn’t be worth the life loss at all. It should at least come in invincible.
