Wow that Cipher guy in this thread got destroyed. What on Earth made him think he was just gonna make claims without proof and everyone would except it just because he claimed to sources to be Jap books? And the funny thing. he actually got mad that ya wouldnât believe him. Like a child that thinks they told a good enough lie to get out of trouble, then gets mad because you wont but their bullshit they thought was good enough to fool you.
He was allowed to spread his cammy crush for a while now. Finally someone called him out on it. Didnât even say they didnât believe him, only that he show us some scans of his sources.
I will admit I will miss the daily Daemos vs Cipher thread throw down though.
At first I couldnât tellâŚbut, on second lookâŚ
I think it might be âĺłč ăăźă â = âRight arm teamâ (i.e. âright hand man teamâ)
(the č kanji is really stretched outâŚbut, itâs hand drawn, and Iâd imagine that character would be really hard to draw free hand so small)
So, if thatâs the hierarchy, we can very definitely confirm that Juri is not working with Shadowloo. That leaves 3 options open:
-Sheâs just doing her own thing
-She took the remnants of SIN for herself
-Sheâs working with the Illuminati
There is also the possibility that when this drawing was conceived Juri was not confirmed yet, so she was excluded. Or maybe Capcom are keeping her plot significance secret.
I donât think there was an SIN for herself to take. Most everything was likely absorbed back into Shadaloo, and sheâs not the CEO business type. I can still see her with Shadaloo, but I think she is probably a free agent that may get hired for a job here or there. She needs Shadaloo though if she wants to maintain that eye of hers.
Would she really be that much of an afterthought? She had a story in SF4, which Capcom knows the true meaning behind. You mean to tell me they finalized FANGâs concept and even laid out an extended Shadowloo hierarchy before they decided to have Juri return? I think I remember Ono or someone on the staff saying that they had a pretty good idea early on for who they wanted.
If Iâm not mistaken, she was pretty much Sethâs second in command. All of the SIN guys who felt Bison was going to turn their assholes inside out for defecting (quite a few, Iâm sure), would probably take their chances with Juri. Also, so long as the machines/staff Seth used to keep her eye working survived, she doesnât really need Shadowloo to maintain it. Especially if Vega sold his data to the Illuminati.
Why would Vega sell the data to the illuminati? He himself says that with this data Shadaloo can live on forever, and his good looks would last forever as well. Seems heâs got something too good to lose or give up for the Illuminati.
You also need to understand that SIN is the weapons division and a public/corporate front for Shadaloo. They only officially turned their back on Shadaloo after the Juri incident. Within only a few months, they learned the hard way what happens when you turn your back on Shadaloo. SIN cannot survive without the support of Bison, in the same way that a wing canât fly without the bird it is attached to.
The concept art as mentioned earlier likely reflects Shadalooâs hierarchy within the base, rather than all over. So if Juri is with SIN, she would be excluded from the tree, but she would still technically be with Shadaloo.
Here is an article from an interview from Combofiend. In the article, he goes into detail about each character, explaining the âinspiration behind each fighterâs visual appearance, the thought process behind their move set and what led to each character being decided upon as a launch roster member.â
There isnât really anything too revealing, however, a few interesting points pop up. For instance, the reasoning and inspiration for the character design was due to their role in the story.
Thatâs all I was able to find.
The speculation was that SFVâs story was gonna retell at least most of the SF canon story, in addition to the current story. So once again, we have the Mighty Bison with his âgrandest scheme yetâ. Iâm curious to see how itâs gonna play.
Iâm not sure how much Combofiend knows about the story, but Nashâs appearance is not consistent with bullets and a waterfall. Weâll see what retcons Capcom has in store for us.
Also Combofiend implied that FANG isnât just as evil as the 4 kings, he may be even more evil.
I hope weâll get to see the inevitable showdown between Ryu and Bison in Street Fighter V. Itâs been a longtime coming. Besides the brief skirmish in Alpha 3, these two have never fought. Itâs about time we see the refined Hado go up against the dreadful Psycho Power. No outside interferenceâs or stupid plot device; just One-on-one, in true Street Fighter form.
