Something I wanna throw into the mix. The whole Juli and Noembelu thing; does T. Hawk in canon ever mention Noembelu as being a part of his tribe? Even though she was originally supposed to take Juli’s spot as the character Hawk was in search for, because of time constraints of making a new character in Noembelu, they substituted her part for for Juli.
So what’s the canon judgement on Noembelu and Juli?
Well according to his Alpha 3 bio, more than one person went missing from his tribe. This along with all the circumstantial stuff surrounding Noembelu is what made her into a member of the Thunderfoot tribe. However, Julia did not replace Noembelu as there already was a Noembelu sprite in Alpha 3. The character herself was never playable, so she never had an official bio or details within the games to confirm this any further.
There is no object of his affection in SF2. Then he was only interested in reclaiming his land and ridding his people of Shadaloo. The kidnapped villagers subplot came into play in Alpha 3 only.
In his SF4 prologue, they went with his SF2 ending stating that Hawk recovered his land but did not get the girl setting the stage for his return to Street Fighting. In SF4, Hawk make’s no mention of Noembelu, making me think that his relationship with Julia is a little more than friendship. Even after the tournament, Hawk uses Rose to find Juli only.
So what’s the verdict?
More than villager from the Thunderfoot tribe was kidnapped by Shadaloo.
Julia was kidnapped by Shadaloo from the Thunderfoot tribe.
Noembelu was kidnapped by Shadaloo, and she looks like an American Indian.
So either Noembelu happened to have been kidnapped from ANOTHER American Indian tribe. Or she was kidnapped from the same tribe as Julia, but has not been the focus of Hawk because he loves Julia. We don’t know if Noembelu managed to escape the SIN facility like Julia did after SIN’s fall, or if she is back with Shadaloo.
For the record, the SFWW Encyclopedia (which is gathered from canon sources) also states that Noembelu is from the same tribe as Hawk. I’m thinking the simplest solution is best, meaning she is from his Tribe and he either saved her off-camera, or she escaped off-camera, or he didn’t know/care enough to find her before Julia. Another scenario is that she is still with Shadaloo and Hawk will be back to get her too.
Isn’t SIN just the weapons branch of Shadaloo? Why are they doing every single thing other than trafficking weapons or developing them etc.?
Hawk wasn’t originally in the arcade release of SFA3, but Juli and Juni along with the Dolls were (in Juli and Juni’s intro). Juli wasn’t intended to be anything relative to Hawk, she was originally intended for Cammy’s story, as evident in her original arcade ending. When Hawk was included for the PS port, Noembelu was supposedly intended to be the Thunderfoot tribe member Hawk would be looking for.
They didn’t make Noembelu into a interactive character because of constraints, so they let Juli take her role of Hawk’s tribe member. Noembelu kept the full connotation of being a Thunderfoot tribe member without having in story ties to it, and Juli get’s all the story tie in’s but the national backgrounds don’t match up.
I wanted to know if there was still a canon source other than the Udon SFWW stating she was part of his tribe. I asked because the SFV artwork seems to have her posing in the Rising Hawk stance.
Have you ever had the idea that Decapre is quoting her in the end?

Everything aside, this storyline right here is the deepest and most saddening one in the entire series. ı wonder whether what happened in the end is official? IE did Cammy ascrifice herself to be with Decapre?
It’s more funny that Daemos straight ignored the opening and just used the ending. You can see who is who in the opening, just by look at the god damn eyes.
Decapre asks Cammy if it hurts, Cammy is shocked and then says: it’s all right.

In Cammys Story on the japanese fansite, asked Cammy Juri where the Dolls are. Juri said in the Facility,but one has escaped,after they tried to take controll over her.
So Cammy found Decapre after defeating Juri.
Later Cammy meet Decapre. In their rival battle, tried Cammy to wake her up.
The Rival battle happend, but Cammy was most of the time dodgeing Decapre and didn’t even try to fight her. Since we know, she would never hurt a friend.
In the end Cammy found her again in the Facility after Decapre has either defeated 15 or one of the other Cyborgs. Decapre gets berserk again, after she collaps her mind controll starts to break. Bison appears says Cammy that Decapre dies, nobody mentoid why.
What kind of deal she made with Bison is still unknown, we will probably see it in SFV.
Also Decapre said during the ending to Cammy: It’s all right. The same she said as a child to her.
She also quotes Cammy after Bison put her into one of the capsules.
That Decapre can remember her Childhood is actually the part that interests me the most, together with her real self. These two have probably a stronger connections to each other than just clones.
Cammy “sacrificed” Decapre to Bison because she was apparently dying, most likely because she’s an imperfect clone of Cammy. So Bison took her away to his labs to further the experimentation, and I guess Cammy intends to now save Decapre again
Cammy is right there in the tube next to Decapre’s.
The bargain Cammy made with Bison is she would let Bison have Decapre and in return he would save her life. Decapre would’ve otherwise died without Bison’s intervention. Decapre comforts Cammy following this (just like she comforted her when she was young), and relieves Cammy of the hard choice she has to make. She willingly goes with Bison.
Bison could’ve taken Decapre if he wanted, but probably wanted Cammy to go through the pain of making that choice because he is an evil bastard. It also requires less effort on his part to force her to give Decapre to him.
Later in the story we see Cammy leaving the SIN base (Her SF4 ending) and visiting Juni in the hospital (Her SSF4 ending) and now we see her in SF5. So obviously, Cammy did not go with Bison. Therefore, the shot of them side by side is most likely a flashback.

This is me thinking in a optimistic POV. Maybe this means that there is gonna be a lot of story content to play. To cover continuity, maybe they let us play multiple characters and multiple angles of the story. And this is just for alpha. In addition to that, and possibly the present day story, we could get them to cover SFII and 3S. I doubt they would dive into SFIV unless they really want to clear things up. But we’ve already seen and play it before.
lets hope they don’t sacrifice quality for quantity.
