The Inevitable Street Fighter V Story Thread: ARCADE EDITION!

…and then take control over Nec’s power-upped body

As Nec is used to absorb normal peoples with linked body-soul, while with Bison is just going to eat his current shell without realize he’s becoming the new one

Do it with an actual playable fight (won by Bison) inside Nec’s mind for who take the control and we can get some cool final Boss

Good I hope Bison kicks his primitive ass. Bitch needs to get out and get lost. I did not tolerate super sayian bitch ass foni, and I ain’t tolerating rating the bitch ass super saiyan blanka here either.

But you are fine with body hopping Ginyu? I miss the old Bison. The Bison that was actually a bad ass. The Bison that was an achievement to overcome. Not the one that can get bodied and jump to back up bodies. Not the one that uses technology to enhance his power. The one that was just plain better than everyone.

People give Akuma shit, but at he doesn’t have such a lame get out of jail free card. Akuma earned his power through training and sheer will. His code of honor may not be acceptable to most, but his power exactly that “his power.” I was hype for Bison during the Street Fighter Animated Movie. The guy that beat down Ken and Ryu at the same time like they were nothing by using his power, his true ability. I never thought he’d become this.

Akuma can’t hold a candle to bison. I’ll take the body switcher over stutter tongue mgee. That and Bison has some humour. Which is a plus. Akuma’s power isn’t even his. He just found it then embraced it. Like how Bison acquired his. He sought it out, then controlled it.

Who wants to start making final predictions with no backsies? Should be funny to see how wrong/right we all end up being.

One prediction I have for N-Necalli is he’ll be used like a crisis is used in DC. He’ll kill off characters and clean up continuity for the SF universe. He’ll mostly kill off unpopular niggas.

Bison will get more and more powerful until he becomes Shin Bison. Necalli will fight and absorb Shin Bison and become the final boss. Either Ryu will fight him and win, or Nash will fight him and they’ll both die.
Shadaloo crumbles after Balrog is put in charge.
The Dolls are saved and rehabilitated, with the possible exception of Decapre.
After Nash dies for real, Guile goes home and becomes a family man again.
Chun-Li continues to search for Li-Fen, who goes straight from Shadaloo’s captivity to Urien’s captivity.

They teased the ending in what was revealed. Necalli is the sacrificial lamb. The bright blue butterfly that awakens Nash represents an outside agent that will intercede and help Nash in victory. Frankly, you guys are all in denial of you don’t think that butterfly represents Ingrid. I’m not trying to be controversial.

Just stating what I think the lamb and butterfly represent. The butterfly also being a symbol of metamorphosis. Nash awakens from his “cacoon” the sarcophagus reborn. Yet I also think it’s pointing to other metamorphases that other main characters will undergo.

Bison tricking Necalli into eating him and taking over his body makes sense in this context. Nash will be helped by Ingrid to help stop and contain Bison. But not kill him.

Either way it’s also implied that Charlie is living on borrowed time, so it should be no shock he does something ultimately heroic when he goes out.

Urien and the Illuminati will take credit for destroying Bison, yet will wonder in secret what really happened. Gill in his arrogance will be dismissive of any inquiry into Ingrid.

The Sun Goddess is very important to Japan and Capcom, see also Amaterasu, etc. I think it’s a foregone conclusion Ingrid will make a non-playable appearance.

The irony is that Ingrid is capricious and has a sense of fair-play. She will probably “release” Bison one day as well.

If they make her some omnipotent goddess of light like before, okay. But get rid of the childish look and personality and try to make her feel/look more transcendent; then I’d tolerate it. It’ll still be a bit too anime for SF IMO.

I think I speak on behalf of everyone when I say

LMFAO

Yes. This.

Omfg this killed me. Still laughing. so hard.

Thanks for the intelligent responses.

Akuma’s power is his power. He’s done what no Ansatsuken master has ever done and mastered the Satsui No Hado. Bison is essentially a technological PED user with 1UPs at this point. Give me an antagonist that can body the world’s best without technology boosting his Ki. Someone that’s like what Bison used be. Body hopping Ginyu antics are fine for a subordinate, not the big bad.

It’s not that it isn’t good insight…we just hate Ingrid so much. Thinking about it hurts my brain

Tech isn’t a crutch. :coffee:

This post may be an Ingrid fans wet dream but it comes off as wishful thinking. Bison has been diminished enough as it is. Ingrid would be the final nail in his coffin. Urien has the potential to develop into a true antagonist in the SF Universe. Hopefully Capcom is still capable of making one of those. Seth was and is a joke. Bison is turning into a hybrid of Captain Ginyu and Raul Julia Live-action Bison. Necalli’s concept of an ancient Aztec killing machine seemed cool initially but then he started doing that T-1000 liquefying BS.

The way Bison uses tech it is.

Yeah, I agree to some extent with her appearance needing to be serious. I’ve just always chocked it up to her appearing to other characters in a subjective way, in other words in a personalized way. She could just as easily appear as a beam of light or … a butterfly. I don’t think it really matters at this point.

It’s strange that Street Fighter has always been based upon borrowing from other popular anime and yet so many consider it being outside of anime, or that it would be tarnished in their eyes if the influences were overt.

To me it’s always been obvious that SF borrows from many different sources, of course anime is one major source.

Anyways, just sharing a theory about the direction they may have to go in to tie up lose ends storywise.

I’m not an Ingrid defender or fanboy, however, I accepted CAPCOM’s intent to make her a part of Bison’s story or origins a long, long time ago.

I think it’s just a bunch of uneducated parroting in general that makes so many opposed to her character.

The Mary Sue hate wagon is popular on the internet, yet so is a lot of other shit that does not attempt to pass for intelligent discourse either.

At the end of the day, I agree that Capcom painted themselves into a corner with the idea of Bison snatching bodies, etc. It makes him seem invincible, unfortunately they need an outside agency that is presented to be OBVIOUSLY more powerful. Therefore something like The Sun Goddess was necessary.

In the context of undoing Bison’s mischief, I would agree that she should appear in a serious form, in the end.

Nah, that’s just how he works. I love me the magic, but I love me the tech even more. I love technology, robots, gadgets you name it. I love it. Akuma wishes he could body swap.
