According to what Daemos told me 19 days ago, “Capcom did not get rid of the Juli/Hawk stuff. In Fang’s Doll assessment from a page or two ago, they do reference her escape at the end of SF4 (or rather their subsequent retrieval thereafter)”. It’s looking like T.Hawk’s Ending could have happened but…other things occurred and Shadaloo got her back.
If there has to be a playable soll character I would choose my true love santamu.
She could be a zoner with low health. Would use the spear as long distance poking. Monkey assist ala galford or nakoruru. The monkey can be a fireball like those guys too. she would be a bit like vega/cody in that she can pick up the spear when thrown and have different normals without the spear. She would also have a bit of range like billy kane or axl from GG. Maybe some similar moves to polevault bitch from sfex (nanase?)
Yes its a “Mecha Vega (Bison)” but I don’t know whats standing on top of it. I assume Marz controls it since she’s the tech guru and its standing right next to her. Theres no caption that describes fully whats going on in the scene, just the names.
Oh. Then I completely agree. The Doll who’s specialty is guns should never be playable. Neither should the ones who’s specialties are medic, computers and giving orders.
To me, rounds didn’t even make sense in a tournament setting.
How do I have to imagine this? It’s not like in wrestling, where you have to pin the opponent for three seconds, so you can declare that it has to happen twice to win the match.
Instead, you have to drain the opponent’s energy. How can this happen multiple times?
So, you have to totally defeat your opponent, but he still gets up again for another round? But once he’s defeated a second time, this one is for real?
I really don’t know how this shall be imagined within the game’s universe. Whenever there is a comic or movie of any fighting game, they never use a concept of rounds, even in a tournament setting. This one seems to be a pure gameplay-related thing.
It’s the same with the timer: In canon, I doubt that the battles literally just take 99 seconds. Also, who decides the winner after a time up when both fighters are in the middle of nowhere with no audience around?
The timer was obviously included because the game was originally an arcade game and these games need to make sure that people cannot occupy the machine for an indefinite amount of time.
Wow great thanks this one is interesting and very new to me and i could give insight to those that might want to convert her again into a mugen characters.
