The vacation lending an antogonist spot to Urien/Gill already happened. It was called Street Fighter 3. (remember it happens cronologically after SFV).
Bison will be in SF6. Even if not the main villain. Even if if finally making use of one of his spare body recipients (I’m betting in Eddie).
Of course not, the man was a young black youth. I’m sure he was traumatized that canadian tradition smacked him down. Then realizing he had just been physically assaulted. I don’t think he wanted to catch a fever too.
The start of a wonderful high school slice of life hockey battle anime!
I (still) want a Canadian in street fighter, but now I want him or her based off of Casey Jones.

“Canada doesn’t have a martial art!”*
That doesn’t stop Ken, Guile. and Rufus from being the way that they are. We can work our multiculturialism angle + a number of stereotypes to make something interesting. You could go the easy route, have a mountie, have him quit or lose his job because of Shadaloo/ Illuminati/ fake his death and plot his revenge to first get the mountain man look, then you can have it that he’s got a pal or his dearly departed wife was connected to a brand of martial arts and have him mix that with something to get a unique moveset then set him loose.
Heck, you can go for another stereotype and have it that he took wrestling in his highschool and college days, so he’s got a martial arts background, training as a mountie, and some wrestling knowledge to make him a beast. Also, skew him a bit older to make his long career more realistic. I’m thinking early 40s, that way he’s older than most of the cast and has a seasoned aesthetic without making him too old to fight. He’d be a jack of all trades but master of none-type; meaning he wouldn’t stance switch like Gen, but his moves would be composed of a variety of philosophies to make it something of his own.
