What I wanna know is [details=Spoiler]after Ryu gets his ass handed to him, why does Necalli leave after the black moon has eclipsed the sun?[/details]
[details=Spoiler]I think after the Bison vision he decided he has to take care of things. Once he saw the psycho sphere blot out the sun he yelled out a name I donāt recognize and got SUPER Pissed off. So maybe he is now shifting his focus directly to Bison or focusing on Bison, but needing to find this āGetepeā if itās a thing or person. Any ideas?

Also, after listening to the English va clip. Dhalsim does indeed nosell the SNH punch to his back, you can hear the impact sound. Iāve never been this excited to see 'Sim and Iām loving his new guru state. They better not kill him off, though looking at how he didnāt blink at Necalliās presence makes me think heāll be fine.
I donāt think getepe is a person. Itās one of his generic win quotes, so itās probably something he can just say similar to Akuma saying Messatsu. Even if it has meaning, itās probably a reaction to the sun being blocked.
Necalli doesnāt seem to be evil. More like a force of nature.
Dhalsim does say he appears only at the time of calamity āwhen many warriors are neededā.
It seemed to me that he was trying to rally Nash and Ryu (in his own twisted way). He induced those visions in Ryu that revealed Bisonās (or Illuminatiās) plot.
As for Getepe, itās also a word in Indonesian (no idea what it means in that language though).
Thatās definitely not Hebrew. Thatās the Enga language of Papua New Guinea. The word could well mean āvineyardā in Enga (and Iām skeptical an Engan knows about wineā¦ āfruitā is a more reasonable deduction), but I donāt think thatās a clue.
Nor I think Capcom developers have a clue about what Enga is.
And this is correct; still, you canāt mix Enga and Hebrew and think you have the meaningā¦ Thatās wishful thinking, not a serious linguistic research.
My Indonesian dictionary has nothing about it. Where did you find that?
That doesnāt make sense, as āget upā in Portuguese is levanta-te!, and Iād have a hard time figuring out just how that could be pronounced GETEPE.
Hmmmā¦ Necalli feeding on Bison doesnāt make much sense. From what Dhalsim says to Ryu in the scenes weāve seen it looks like Necalli is a guardian spirit that absorbs human souls in order to become stronger and save the Earth from its doom. His goal is probably to destroy Bison since heās the one who put the moons in the sky.
If itās actually like those 20 minutes suggest it to be, then Necalliās character is deeper than I thought. Heās actually both a good and a bad guy - bad guy working for the good. He reminds me a little of the dragons in Chrono Cross in that heās a guardian of the planet that can kill human beings to save it.
Necalli just cares about eating strong souls during the only time he is able to eat strong souls. Donāt overthink him, because he most likely is really that 2-dimensional.
