I’m really liking how they’re going through all the characters in the franchise, even the very subtle ones. Now, if only they’d put in the same effort into creating a cohesive in-game story.
Apparently, in either the overseas or English case, Capcom has been using Wikipedia info to make up Mika’s “official” bday. It’s only until (very) recently that Mika has had a bday, and already Capcom has messed it up.

According to Nakayama, the story and profile inconsistencies are partially the reason why the new “Shadaloo Research” profiles have been getting released the past few months.

In the previous blurb for Max they said he’s in SFV somewhere. Anyone find him, or is he not in the game after all?
They probably edited that out because he’s not in the game after all.
They edited the intro part to mention Scott because he comes after him in the listing now, but before it was switched and Scott’s bio mentioned Max (because Max’s profile was supposed to be released before Scott’s).
I also don’t remember Scott being listed as the “50th” character special so that’s another thing that’s edited (mainly because they didn’t have 50 profiles to start with).
They also cut out the part about Scott resembling Cody which is dead obvious from looking at him, but the profile fails to mention it now.
I’m glad I have another poster I can cross reference my translations to, for accuracy on my part.

Sadly, Capcom would never do something interesting with the characters. They tend to stick to whatever has been done before (Shadaloo) and add new things that don’t quite mix.
They mentioned Birdie in Rufus’s profile which comes before Birdie’s own, so it’s not like they couldn’t have left it in there.
