There should never again be a character in a fighting game that isn’t playable. It’s a complete waste of resources.
But yeah, giving a character a boss FORM that’s not playable(like Shin Vega) would be totally fine.

For me it’s definitely Juri and Urien, seeing how they’re representing the other two organizations other than Shadaloo
Oro should be very interesting. Capcom has something planned for him, but it might be a while before we see it.
I WAS most excited about Urien. But after seeing Alex’s story, I feel like it’s just going to be him standing in the shadows going, “Good, once Shadaloo is out of the way, we’ll be able to proceed freely.” To be continued in SF3…
Tbh i will consider SFV story the cinematic june thing (and likely other future season-chapter of it)
Current story with Bengus sketches is just SFV pretending to have a story mode
I think Alex will have a role (big or small) in it, and i think DLC order will be based also on cinematic chapters
Or at least that was likely theyr plan if SFV sold well as they expected
Imho first chapter will be:
Bison big evil plan
Chun/Cammy/Guile + Nash vs Bison
Kanzuki ninjas vs Shadaloo army
Ryu-Dalshim-Necalli
Grappling tournament (Gief, Mika, Laura, Alex)
Little Rashid-Fang side story shit
Then they will use next ones (Rog, Juri, Urien) and Season 2 to build a second chapter
Rog- can be used to introduce Ed
Juri- she’s kind of joker card, they can build her story
Urien- as Illuminati rep, will start to rise

It sound like decent material for a change of direction
Again if they will not drop the idea because SFV sold poor, in that case they will do cinematic 1 chapter, then call it a day and ask Bengus to cheap sketch all the future story

Right now, Urien absolutely. I really am psyched and hyped to see how they will finally address Sf3 and build bridges to it. Already with Alex’s story FANG is implying there’s something rather unusual about Alex that wasn’t apparent from their initial interactions so it could be awesome.
Also Balrog. His connection to Ed could bring some interesting things. Already FANG wants to prove to Bison ***something ***about Ed’s existence and connection to Balrog as seen in Charlie’s story.
Also I just wanna know what on earth Necalli really is. I’m hoping it’s not really offputting and Godforbid Ingrid shows up. My love to whoever can make Q and Kolin banish her into the void.

It would have been a catastrophe had they just gone ahead and told us Guile found Nash on his own, rendering Abel’s existence in USFIV useless. I see what you mean, though. Some random flashback fight with Nash, another with FANG in search of the present Nash and possibly some other random shit between Guile and Vega/Bison/Cammy.[/details] Lame is all I can say, but I’m glad they didn’t write off [details=Spoiler]Abel[/details] from the lore.
Am I the only one who thinks Bengus’ art for Alex and Guile’s story modes are much better compared to that of the initial cast? There doesn’t seem to be rough lines or stinkers (bad anatomy, lack of detail, etc) on their story panels.
I assume they actually gave him time to finish these drawings properly, this seems to be the case for the DLC characters so far.
Wouldn’t surprise me.
