I asked Nakayama-san what Laura’s birthday is, and he replied.
July 30th…same as Rufus!
Can’t read it all that well, but from what I can tell, he’s talking about how Dictator waves his arms around in a circle before returning to his cross armed idle pose (after he does a move). I think they were considering his old school SF2 “roll the dice” idle pose, where his hand swings back and forth…but, they decided not to for various reasons.
I’m not totally sure about that translation, though.
A Student of Sagat stole a kick from Dictator? Even Adon new the king of Muy Thai was second fiddle to Lord Bison the king of the standing medium kick.
Human Seth turns SF4’s boss from DBZ #19/Pinocchio into an Amazo/Lex Luther.
Bison’s s.mk is probably the one move he has that has the most realistic Muay Thai influence. It makes me wonder if Adon’s s.hk is his stolen rendition of the move?
Edit: Actually on second thought given the context that SF2CF was written in relation to moves used by the characters Adon wouldn’t have had a normal attack that resembled any of M. Bisons during SF1 like he does in Alpha. Instead, he has his flip kick which is the precursor to the Jaguar kick that is performed in a similar fashion to Bisons knee press.
Not gonna lie, I’m not exactly well versed in the story of Street Fighter as much as everyone else is, but this video was hard to get through, even for someone with minimal knowledge such as myself >.>
It’s pretty ironic that the maker of the video fully acknowledges the retconned storylines and endings of SF in the very beginning then right off the bat proceeds to tells the backstory of Guile and Charlie in SFA3, without realizing it’s been retconned in relation to SFV.
Adon copying a move from Bison is cool because is like betray Sagat as master, specially considering that Sagat was thailand’s King (of fighters) but later got moved to #2
If anyone remembers the SFV relationship chart from a while back, I just thought of something. Karin was friends with Sakura, but it seems that Elena and Ibuki were also mentioned as knowing Karin. Considering that Ibuki had Sakura for a rival in SSF4 and Elena had Sakura for a rival in USF4, I think Capcom is going to put the four of them together at some point. We have Karin, Ibuki is coming, and Sakura is inevitable; that just leaves Elena to come in a later season to complete the group. For bonus points, we can also get Makoto to have all of our Japanese schoolgirls involved.
I don’t know; I think getting a set amount of white life back on activation is fair and forces Elena to not get hit if she wants to use it. She wouldn’t get a large amount of real health instantly, and I don’t think it counts for time overs either, which gets rid of the two cheapest uses of it from USF4.
I would think they would balance Elena building white health from an extended V.Skill use with R.Mika building super meter from extended V.Skill use. Elena would still need time to convert the white health, although her V-Trigger could be supplemented by such a heal based V.Skill.
